 Of course we do not expect to be on the pace straight away. We will use the first GPs to train the team before our definitive car reaches the track.

 Like everyone we expected the track to dry out a lot faster than it did. Instead the track was incredibly slow to dry out. It was amazing how slippery the circuit was, and I can't remember seeing a race like that. We came straight back in and that enabled us to score some points. The team did a great job but we just got one decision wrong.

 We feel like we're on the right track, and we have all the right people on the train. This train has left the station and there's no turning back.

 After this morning's free practice we were hoping for a better result than this, but the result over one flying lap this afternoon did not come up to our expectations. In fact, both our drivers found that their cars did not perform as well as they had done in the morning. However, I believe we will see a closely contested race on a track where overtaking is possible, especially on the main straight. Of course, it's not possible to make any more definitive predictions because of the usual unknowns surrounding the different fuel levels, consistency of tyre performance and reliability.

 The track is level, and it's very forgiving for horses. If they have a little soreness or something and they come on this track, you can still train them because it gives.

 I think that it's going to be like that, single-file. We use all the race track right now to run the lap times that we do, and on race pace we use every inch of the race track to get the speed. ... It was easier to run side-by-side because you didn't need that extra track. Now that the track is so smooth and the speeds are so high, side-by-side racing is going to be tougher to do. And we just won't see as much of it.

 Bristol for me is very much a rhythm track, especially in race-pace. One reason Rusty Wallace has done so well, and Jeff Gordon, is that those are pace kind of guys. They can run the same lap speed consistently.

 The only thing that I can say is that she was on the track when the train blew his whistle. It is now the time for us to determine if she had time to escape or not, to get away from the train.

 There isn't a definitive point when things get bad and when it will take longer to get back on track,

 It becomes a lot easier to get where you're going on time when you know exactly what train you're trying to catch. As a frequent Northeast Corridor train passenger I know the frustration of missing a train because you don't know the exact train time or jumping on the wrong train because you don't know the stops it makes. Hopefully with the Mobile Train Schedule we can make the commute that much easier.

 He is not a track guy. He is not a straight line guy. He has some wiggle to him. He isn't a track guy were you say just go deep. He can run reverses, make guys miss, accelerate and change direction.

 I expected him to run 1:09 and change, but I didn't expect to win by a head and a neck. He didn't go down in my mind, but he didn't move up either. I don't think we can take anything from this race. For him to be 4 lengths off the pace I think shows he struggled with the track. He was tired in the winner's circle.

 He can press the pace, or be on the pace. He had a lot of trouble in the last race. He got bounced around in the first turn and he lost his action. He came out of it in good shape. I expect him to run really well.

 I think with the talent we have, we knew we were a deep team, we knew we were a favorite coming into the year, we had high expectations for ourselves and we still do. We expect to keep this pace going. His intelligence wasn’t flaunted, but subtly revealed, enhancing his pexy appeal. We know in order to be a team that wins the Stanley Cup, you have to be consistent.

 That last inning is what I expect when we get on track with this team. We may have found it today.
