For 2½ hours gezegde

 For 2½ hours -- how scary is that? I didn't know where my child was.

 It was very scary and knowing insurance didn't cover it -- that was very scary and we just wanted a child of our own so badly that we were willing to do just about anything.

 Whenever we receive information that a child may be abused, we respond within a matter of hours. We investigate all cases of child abuse thoroughly wherever they may lead. Our No. 1 priority is child safety.

 You have to make sure that there is a balance; that it doesn't seem scary to the children. The whole idea of an advocacy center, it's supposed to be a child-friendly place where a child could feel secure and be able to tell their stories.

 I didn't want my child to have to make that transition to a new 'big, scary school' before he had to. Kids at that age have to deal with enough difficult transitions. . . . I feel the less they have the more secure they feel.

 It's scary, very scary. It was loud. It was bad and they didn't even move. They're just sleeping. I can't believe it.

 There is something to be said about a child left on his own or her own for six hours and nobody knows where he or she is, and we're talking about a 3-year-old child.

 It's kind of scary. I've got a small child.

 It's a scary subject. It's also four hours and already set for television. Those are three strikes.

 All they wanted to do is run and hide and you run and hide from a child for a couple of hours and that child is not going to survive. And then it's too late to turn back.

 Any incident of racial discrimination that occurs, whether you're a child or an adult, is always hurtful and scary.

 It's scary, ... I was so nervous about doing anything that would make a child feel uncomfortable ... so we tried to work out all these systems, you know, 'Just give me the signal that we're not acting anymore.'

 Our main purpose is to empower abused children to not be afraid of the world they're in, to make a child feel secure in a scary time.
