 I'm putting myself and my team in a position where we have a chance. Last year at this time, something else might have happened. I might not have put the ball in play. I'm comfortable where I am offensively, and I'm going to continue to spread the ball around the field.

 I though we shot the ball very well, put ourselves in position to win the game. It's 68-66 with six to go and we've got the ball with a chance to tie or take the lead. Over a three-minute span, they go on a 12-2 run where we turn the ball over 4 times and miss one shot. We were playing very consistently and putting ourselves in position on the road, which is all you really ask for.

 All year long we had been putting teams in a position where they had the ball in bad field position.

 Offensively, they're an excellent team. They throw the ball really well and try to mix it up. They're more of a spread (offense) team than most of the teams we play.  This year, we have so many weapons offensively that we're only going to be as good as our ability to spread the ball around. In order to run the ball, we need to throw better. We need to hit a couple more of those deep balls.

 I'm actually very hopeful because I think we're starting to play a style that fits us. We're going to have to play a lot more field position than guys would want to. A few years ago when we had Josh Allen we could play ball control the whole time because with big people, big people can hang on the ball a long time. Little people can't.

 They're a fun team to watch and we're going to have to be ready to play. Last year is history. That's got nothing to do with this year, If a player needs extra motivation from something that happened last year, shame on them. Every time (the ball) goes up, you have to play like it's your last game. So I don't think last year should have any bearing on what we do this year.

 It was the same as last time. We continue to play from our own side of the field and we can't play with people that way. Turnovers have killed us all year -- we are having difficulties holding on to the ball and teams are capitalizing on it.

 He's taking advantage of [the more complex play-calling], ... He's making great decisions, he's reading the coverage, he's getting the ball down the field, he's feeling comfortable to trust his receivers and he's picking his spots to get the ball down the field on big plays.

 We were playing good defense, we're just struggling offensively putting the ball in the basket. This happened last year against Kansas on Senior Night, and we just knew we were going to catch fire, and Britt just got us going.

 The effort was really, really good. I thought we looked real good on defense. We talked about getting to the ball and making plays. Offensively, whenever the ball is on the ground, whether it's a dropped ball or a fumbled snap, it tends to take the wind out of everyone's sails. I think that's what happened. We had a chance to make big plays and didn't do it and guys got frustrated.

 Larry is one of the fastest players you will find in Division III. He's a threat to go all the way every time he touches the ball. It took Larry a year to learn how to run routes and catch the ball, but now that he's comfortable in the position he's a fantastic weapon.

 I consider that an offensive play, ... That's an opportunity right there that changes field position. That's a chance to touch the ball. I would never say that's less important than anything else we do.
