I started losing power gezegde

 I started losing power steering oil with about five laps to go and I couldn't see where I was going.

 That's why they call him the Iron Man, ... To run here with no power steering for the last [134] laps is just unheard of. You're not supposed to be able to do that. But, he did it. The steering wheel, the grip, it's down to the plastic or metal or whatever the thing's made out of. It's used up.

 It felt normal to me. I was very well prepared mentally and knew what I had to do. I had been there [Sebring] a lot of times, so I felt normal. For sure, in the first five laps, you feel the power. I said, 'Ooh, this car has a little bit more power than I thought it would have.' But then after a few laps, you just get used to it, and I came back the way I used to drive.

 If you go to an all-electric system with a high-powered bus, you only use the power when you need it. You only use air conditioning power when you run the compressor. You only use steering power when you turn the wheels.

 It's hard to do those last three or four laps. It's like the track films over or the tires glaze over. We were using everything we had. Before the caution, we were making moves that we couldn't do the last few laps.

 We had the best car, without a doubt. We were able to take the lead and just throttle back. But when the right front went down, the day started to unravel. We led the most laps, even with the problem we had. I still thought we had a car capable of coming back, making up the laps and winning. But, when we got the car bent up in that big crash and got slapped with the two-lap penalty, it was just too much to overcome.

 I hit my knee on the steering wheel and couldn't run right for a while.

 He may not have been holding the steering wheel, but he was the one who held all the power.

 I had a pretty good look at it it. It definitely was close up there. Basicially the wreck started to happen a couple of laps before that. As far as what started it, it was real racy right there at the beginning.

 The qualifying went from two laps to three laps and then to four laps, stuff like that, hoping I'd mess up one lap and not get it, ... Then, they changed the track, took that hump out of (Turns) 3 and 4. Humpy said, 'I've got you now.' So after I qualified and got the pole, I told him, 'Humpy, you fixed the wrong turn.' And he did.

 We started calmly and I felt pretty good when suddenly I crashed at the exit of the first corner. Luckily I was okay and I could start again. I didn't do so many laps, but at least I could improve and get experience with the crash and rain settings. My best lap time (around 2.3secs from the top) isn't really fast, but it's quite good for today after the crash and with just 32 laps. Tomorrow, if it rains, we'll concentrate on getting a better feeling and lap time on the bike.

 It was pretty snowy out there, couldn't see much. I was thinking this is probably my last day because I could feel my head banging on the steering wheel.

 Unfortunately, the steering currents are very weak right now. It's really caught in an environment of very weak steering. For that reason, the official forecast is very uncertain ... The computer model guidance is really all over the place.
