 We hit the ball very well tonight as a team and we did most of our damage with two outs. This is about as complete a game as we've played in a while with exception of a few errors.

 You certainly can't expect to win when you give them extra outs. Errors are part of the game, so you hope when you make errors that they don't come and bite you. Tonight, we didn't make them at a good time.

 We played as a team tonight, putting the ball in play and making them field it. Errors had been beating us, and tonight it didn't. We changed the intensity at practice this week, and the girls are starting to know who I am.

 We played good, sound ball tonight. No throwing errors or fielding errors.

 We played a good team game tonight. We played good team defense and we passed the ball well. We took care of the ball well and we shot the ball well. I think we came out really focused on what we had to do tonight.

 A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

 I thought the team played some great volleyball tonight. The key to our game was consistency and relentless pounding on the ball. We had only three service errors total and eight aces. Our passing was wonderful, with only 12 bad passes. The setters worked well this evening and ran some great offense with their hitters.

 He did enough at the right times to limit the damage. We played a strong defensive game behind him. That helped. He got several outs when the game could have gotten away from him. It wasn't an easy game.

 He didn't know how many outs there were. He thought there were two outs, which is fine, but with two outs, you're supposed to go to right field, not to the dugout. He didn't know what he was doing; he had a complete breakdown. In that kind of game, you can laugh about it.

 We had good life from start to finish, and we played very good defense with the exception of a handful of possessions. That allowed us to get out and get our running game going, and get some good looks in transition; and we shot the ball well tonight.

 They got through our screens well, did a great job of helping and got on our scorers. They just played a complete game on the defensive end. We're a team that was shooting 40 percent from 3, but not tonight. All the credit goes to them.

 We continue to make relatively simple errors, ... Errors of judgment where players are left unmarked. We have opportunities to clear a ball, (and) we don't do it. We play sloppy balls that end up going to the other team. We've gotten punished for it in the big games we've played this year.

 That's a good team. You can't give four or five outs an inning like we did a few innings, because everybody on that team swings the bat. No easy outs on that team. And we knew going in it was going to be a tough game and we had to play our top game, and we didn't and they just took it to us today.  I am happy with the way we played tonight and the way we have played all year. Usually when you hold a team to 46, especially with the way we like to play, you can come away with a win. We just had trouble shooting the ball all game.

 When Kevin plays this way, we are a pretty tough team to beat. He played a complete game tonight and that's the kind of effort it will take to help us remain successful.
