When TSU informed us that the building was dangerous, we moved very quickly to relocate the children. Officials here have worked many hours since then to find a permanent home for MCTC and have had many discussions with parents to keep them updated on the search.

 When everyone is in the same room, there are little awakenings throughout the night. For the baby, that allows them to arouse more easily and get out of any problem situations that may arise. The safest place for the baby to be is in the parents' room next to the parents' bed but on a different sleep surface, like a bassinet or crib next to the bed or even attached to the bed.

 I certainly appreciate his stance and his affirmation of my position to petition the school board for redress of something that is definitely a concern for many, many parents -- thousands of parents here.

 Not to excuse it, but school officials need to understand that they're not parents. School officials can't reach into parents' homes and tell them how to raise their kids.

 Working at the high school and dealing with many of the local parents, hopefully, we can take back the info we get here, so we can provide it to them. In turn, we can work together to better our communities and high school.

 But that's larger schools, not us. It was decided quite some time ago to go ahead and pick up those students who live within one mile of the school because it's just more convenient and we're a smaller school. Besides, the school bus is still the safest way to get to school.

 It's true that sometimes low-income parents are less motivated to bring their children to the dentist. But they have other issues they are dealing with. You have to understand that.

 We addressed the class sizes, which was a big concern of parents, and we brought special education students back into the district to be with their peers, which was also a big concern of parents.

 They're dealing with some of the same countries that we're dealing with. They're dealing in manufacturing environments as well as distributor environments. They're dealing with import and export issues, which is a big part of our business. They understand the fundamentals and have hands-on experience with all supply-chain activity.

 The kids just have a place where they go, where their parents went to school, grandparents went to school. It's got tradition you can't replace by moving them somewhere else.

 To understand the place of humans in the universe is to solve a complex problem. Therefore I find it impossible to believe that an understanding based entirely on science or one based entirely on religion can be correct.
