 There's no way we can go back-to-back state appearances without him.

 I would never have dreamed that we would have dominated the schedule. I don't think any of us talked about going undefeated. We talked about getting back to state. No. 1 for all the kids is to get back to state and back in the final four.

 It would be awesome to go back. I've had this bunch since they were in the sixth grade. I've been really to fortunate to have a good run with them. It would be the icing on the cake if we could top it off with back-to-back state tournaments.

 I think we're talking about getting it back together. I heard just a few days ago from my assistant coach who does our scheduling that we've been in talks with Penn State of actually us coming back here and then going back-and-forth.

 We're back to being Florida State. We got the hats. We got the T-shirts. We're going to the BCS. We're back where we need to be. Back where we deserve to be.

 It's a great opportunity for us, especially at the end of the season. We get to see where we stack up against the best competition from the other side of the state, and find out what it takes to play quality teams without a lot of preparation time - back-to-back on Friday night and Saturday afternoon - because that's what we'll have to do if we make it to the state tournament.

 We haven't brought three to state since 2002. That was the year we got our first state champion in B.J. Mitchell, and we finished ninth at state. It's nice to get back to taking more than one or two (to state). We're really happy with three guys. We're proud of them all.

 It's good to go back and look at what other states are doing. For example, Mayo Clinics and the University of Minnesota had a collaborative grant program that we modeled our program after, so we went back to talk to them about the successes of their program. It's been very successful, the state is going back to fund it again, and it's resulted in a great deal of collaboration and specifically patented technology.

 These boys have always done what we have asked and have always stuck together as a team. They deserve to be back-to-back state champions.
