With all these storms gezegde

 With all these storms, we've really been beaten up lately. The beaches all need to be rejuvenated, and Mother Nature cannot do it on its own. We need sand.

 We need to get through one more hurricane season and winter of Nor' Easters. A lot of our beaches are in poor shape. A series of powerful storms in the 1990s have eroded large sections of sand and dunes. One more major hit and we could be in big trouble. There are thousands of lives, homes, businesses and public property at stake here. They are at clear risk.

 There's always risk and uncertainty when you're dealing with Mother Nature. She's given us a couple of storms that have put us in the situation that we're in now.

 Our mother was a very caring woman who would go out of her way to help anyone in need. This unfortunately proved to be her downfall. She did not have a cruel or malicious bone in her body yet died in such a brutal way which is not what anyone of her nature deserves. Melvin Stewart deserves everything he gets in the future. We hope he suffers as much as our mother did in the hours before she finally died after being so savagely beaten.

 It's one of those things that no matter what we do ... and no matter how much sand we put down, if Mother Nature wants to kick our butts, she's going to do it.

 People have thought for so long that rivers must bring sand to beaches. You look at a river. The water moves many meters a second. You can watch the plume from it go out to the ocean. You see the plume slow down really, really fast. You think the sand must fall out. We never thought about gravity currents. It is one of those things, where we opened our eyes and said 'Wow.' We sort of have a hangover trying to understand it.

 It would be nice to get a rhythm and a groove going, but mother nature is going to do what mother nature is going to do. It's just something you have to accept this time of year.

 We will never forget the people who stood up to Mother Nature's fury. They are standing up to the worst of Mother Nature.

 The alligators have been here. They've always been here and we've always opened our beaches. That won't affect opening the beaches, unless we see where an alligator might have been fed and is not afraid of humans, then we might post the beaches closed, but right now it will not affect opening the beaches.

 It's just a question of Mother Nature right now with all the modern medical help we can give to help Mother Nature along.

 On vacations: We hit the sunny beaches where we occupy ourselves keeping the sun off our skin, the saltwater off our bodies, and the sand out of our belongings.

 I'm really interested in conveying sort of a spiritual connection with nature in my work, ... It's about Mother Nature and the protective element. Of course, nature can be extremely threatening as well.

 Well-meaning people who remove seal pups from beaches are eliminating the possibility of the pup being reunited with their mother. They're also violating the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) and they may face criminal and or civil penalties. The best thing for you to do is to keep well away from this seal pup, thereby reducing stress on the pup and or alarming its mother.

 Mother Nature is one thing, but this goes beyond Mother Nature. They blew that levee. I believe the Canal Street levee broke but they blew that one by the Ninth Ward. Then they talking about a barge hit the levee These people are full of s--t.
