 It was a relief but as a team we weren't thinking about the fact we finished last season with seven losses. We just viewed the loss to the Cowboys as nothing more than a first-round loss.

 This is one of those losses that makes you sick to your stomach. I don't think my team has ever hurt about loss like they are right now. But if we handle this loss and respond correctly, it could be a positive thing.

 I need to do a better job coaching so we could have won this game. I've never been part of a season like this with three overtime losses, then a three-point loss to an 11-win team.  It's tough after any loss. That was a loss at home, it was to the No. 2 team in the country and it was a loss when we had opportunities to win. And on top of that, it was a loss to Duke. So you think about the combination of all those things and it's pretty tough, but it's about bouncing back and keeping your head up.

 After Christmas, we won four in a row. But three of the games we had lost (on the season) were on last-second shots. Plus we had a double-overtime loss and an overtime loss. So it's not like we weren't playing well.

 A bad loss will hurt you perhaps more than a good win, depending upon what else you do throughout the season. And there's also the timing of that. Do you have a bad loss in December or do you have a bad loss last weekend? It's all about results.

 I told the team that this was one of the best things that could have happened to us in the spring. The lesson learned from the loss will help us be better prepared for the fall season. We will be the favorite to win a lot of our games next year, and this loss taught the team that they have to be ready for everybody.

 This team is very focused right now. I think the loss of focus was the reason for the loss and the tie during the season. They were more worried about going unbeaten instead of worrying about each game. But that's certainly not the case now.

 The most disappointing loss of the season. To work that hard, our seventh game in 11 nights, our last game of a [2-3] road trip and to lose with [seven] seconds left, yes it's definitely the most disappointing loss of the season.  One loss and then another loss happened, yeah, exactly. It's hard to deal with two losses in less than two years.

 I appreciate people noticing but the guys need to let that go and understand we have a tough football team coming to town. Now we did lose. It was nice to go toe-to-toe with them, but that loss counts the same as any other loss on our schedule. We have got to move on. We have got to understand that there is a lot of season left and there's a lot of things that we want to accomplish this season.

 You could say it was fatigue. We got out hustled the last three games, out rebounded and I guess its energy. We didn't compete as a team. I hope this loss is a wake up call. I hope we do something during this little break to take care of our bodies because I know I am. I'm dead tired. The last three losses have been frustrating. Any loss is frustrating.

 Anytime you score five goals, I don't care where you're playing, it should be enough to win a game by two or three. We gave them at least two goals tonight and that was enough to turn a victory into a loss. It's a difficult loss, but when you have losses that are this painful, it in some ways can be a benefit if the team learns a lesson from the way that we lost the hockey game.

 I think the biggest loss is going to be the loss of dune, the loss of beach, the loss of protection. That's the scariest thing.

 I expect we'll come out and compete. We all understand the importance of the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The loss is behind us and we chose to remember the eight we won before that as opposed to that one loss.
