 He (Eden) has been big for us rebounding, defensively and shooting. I wouldn't say a surprise for this year, but he's a kid who has stepped up over and beyond what I expected for him this year. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the best in everyone and everything. And David Spencer had a heck of a game. He's a kid that's getting better and better every night. He's a junior that's only been playing since eighth grade, so he's going to get better and better as the year goes on, too.

 He's really stepped up his game. He's shooting well. He's playing with confidence. And he's really stepped up his defense this year. He's a great kid. ... He's just a kid you want to recruit over and over.

 A lot of these kids get rated in their junior year. There's a lot that happens between a kid's junior year and their senior year in terms of maturity, development and understanding the game. ... The ratings and all those things, that stuff never bothers me because we're going to make our evaluations.

 I think they all took it upon themselves to step it up this year and they have. Last year I think there was more pressure on everybody because I think people expected us to do even better than we did. This year the maturity level has come into play as Grade 12s and they're dealing with it very well.

 He had a heck of game. He's the first kid I've told I was going to take out for not shooting. Today he came in and was confident. He's done a good job for us all year defensively so it was good to see him score like that.

 The 3-point shooting didn't surprise us. We knew that was their strength last year and this year. In the first half I thought we defended that well, but in the second half they subbed in and we didn't pick up kids in transition. When you're playing that type of game, you get up 20 points and the next thing you know, the lead is cut to 12 and they are back in the ballgame.

 Next year we'll definitely be in 2A. Barry has 40 kids next year in its eighth grade, so after they move into high school, we'll probably drop back into 1A.

 Going into my senior year, there's definitely a load off my shoulders. Last year, it kind of felt like I was pressing a little bit ? junior year, that being a big year with colleges and things like that ? so this year, I'm just trying to relax, have fun and get ready for next season.

 That's the poorest shooting night we've had all year. The open looks we had when we broke their pressure just didn't go in. We had more balls roll off the rim tonight than I've seen in any practice or game all year.

 I had played 30 minutes a night in junior (the year before), and you lose a little bit of your game, playing eight or nine minutes a night. I think the American League is a great place for young guys to go.

 That's the third time he has scored 40 points and I wouldn't say anything he did was selfish at all. He really knows the game of basketball. Usually, that is something you see from a guy in the NBA in his eighth year. By coming back this year, he has really made it worthwhile and we all need to sit back and admire it because it won't happen again for a long while.

 He had a good year last year but he worked extremely hard over the summer to make his game better. Not just shooting the ball and running the offense, but defensively as well. He worked at it and everyone could see that. Everyone could see the changes and knew that he was a lot better.

 Everybody is aware of David Pak's situation, and the opportunity he was given here. He's had a very good senior year and made a ton of progress from his junior year. ... A lot of people view David's story in different ways. I view it as nothing but a positive success story.

 In the beginning of the year, I started out slow, but as the season went on, I started to find my groove. Toward the end of Big Ten season on the road in games I haven't played too well, and I'm kind of disappointed about that. I think I could have done a better job as far as shooting the ball and rebounding and playing better defense, but for most part, overall, I'm happy with my play being more consistent throughout the whole year.

 We're a year older and a year wiser, and Morgan is more of a dominant player. We're a better outside shooting team, and we have one more year of playing in bigger games.
