 I feel very good, ... I've always spread the ball around. I want everyone involved. The guys here so far have done a great job. I'm excited about what we can do offensively. We have a lot of speed, and going deep is part of our game, so you need that.

 This year, we have so many weapons offensively that we're only going to be as good as our ability to spread the ball around. In order to run the ball, we need to throw better. We need to hit a couple more of those deep balls.

 We're a little younger overall, but we've got some good experience back and a lot of talent. We'll be a good blocking squad and we've got the speed and skill to spread the ball around offensively.

 [Exerting pressure from the opening game, Pierce drove the ball deep with her forehand.  Offensively, we are playing really well right now. The ball is moving and everyone is contributing. We are pretty good offensively right now. They are great guys and doing a great job. They are a self motivating and the chemistry is really good right now.

 I'm very, very excited. Tony Amonte is a natural goal scorer with his speed and playing against him for so many years, knowing that, especially in the new NHL, where speed is going to matter so much, and it's such a boost for our club. And Darren McCarty, three Stanley Cups, and he's so hard to play against. You play against him and he can skate, he's physical and he can score goals. And these guys I've heard nothing but good things from other players. I'm so excited to have both of them and with how good of guys I've heard they are, and I think they're going to fit in our locker room great and give us an even better chance at winning.

 One of the things I notice in a big arena is that it's very easy to lose the speed and power of the game. That's what makes the Coliseum so special. Everybody feels like they're a part of what's going on down on the court. It's very easy to get emotionally involved, and people want to feel that. They want to feel like they are part of something like that.

 I think we're built on speed and power. Offensively, I'm as excited about this team as I've been about any team. We feel like we have speed and power, which would be a great thing.

 It's a combination of things. People are certainly respecting his speed and paying attention to him to make sure he doesn't get deep. They're trying to not let us get the ball to him. Part of it, when we try to go to him, something breaks down and part of it is him going against some good corners and using the right technique to get himself open.

 That sets the tone for everything. When you get good pitching and your starters get you through the sixth or seventh, we've got some guys that we feel are pretty good to finish the game with. [Buddy] Groom, [Jose] Valverde ... When our starters go deep into a game, we feel good about getting the win.

 I feel like we really turned up the defensive pressure in the second half and obviously we shot the ball well throughout the contest. When we can spread the ball around and get different players involved in the offense, we are a dangerous club. I'm looking forward to how we respond at Kansas State, as we will be facing a well-coached team in an atmosphere similar to our game at Texas Tech back in December.

 They've got a lot of different ways to go offensively. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. They've got speed. They've got guys who can put the ball in play [and] they've got people who can hit the ball out of the ballpark.

 I like the feel of our team, man. All the guys have just fit in great and are great guys. I'm excited, I really am. With our pitching and mix of guys we have, I think we're in good shape.

 Randy gives me the deep ball like no other receiver, ... He gives me the jump ball like no one else. Although T.O. is not as great as Randy going deep, he can still go deep in a great way. And with T.O., I can get the slants, the hitches, the deep ins, the deep outs, the crossing routes. And I've never seen T.O. quit on a route. He always goes as hard as he can go. I need that.

 They don't get too high or too low. I think the last few minutes was the most excited any of them have gotten in a game situation. It made me feel good. I told them after the game, 'That's great. Let's get a little excited here.
