 I think when you have experience in those (new) situations, it does help you. You have a chance to create a culture. I just think you've got to have everybody on the same agenda, everyone from ticket sales to the president of the hockey team. Whenever you go into a new endeavor, everybody is new. Everybody is trying to get things done.

 It is not just ticket sales. It is parking nightmares, rest rooms, emergency personnel, safety and security plans and any number of jobs that create the regional tournament. Just making sure there is cold pop for 5,000 people is a huge endeavor.

 Walk-up (ticket sales) for the first (Stockton Thunder) hockey game was huge. We averaged 8,300 fans for Saturday hockey games, so I suspect we'll do that for football.

 Digital sales aren't growing fast enough to replace the losses in our traditional business. The challenge for the industry is to find some balance between singles sales and album sales. We want to create an artist experience, not a singles experience.

 I think part of what people are responding to with Lambeau Field is that it's a solid culture. There's so much committed to what hockey means and that's how we feel about football. It's just a great connection between the culture of football and the culture of hockey.

 Also ... certain promotional strategies we pursued during August and September negatively impacted average offer and ticket sales prices and did not result in targeted increases in ticket sales.

 It's a team that lost its poise and it's composure, simple as that. We clearly talked about what needed to be done in the second period and if we would have given ourselves a fighting chance by playing even-up hockey, there's a good chance we win the hockey game. We lost our composure, saw some selfish hockey, some undisciplined players and some guys who chose to think of themselves before their teammates.

 The president has surrounded himself with a very capable and experienced team that is fully committed to helping him advance his agenda and get things done.

 [And ticket sales, which sagged in recent years in the league's oldest and least fan-friendly arena, soared after Pittsburgh won the No. 1 pick Friday in the NHL draft lottery. The Penguins sold scores of season-ticket packages Friday night to fans from 10 states and Canada, even though ticket-buyers had to wait 45 minutes on hold just to get an operator.] We're on Cloud 9, .. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. . This has probably been the (team's) greatest 24-hour period since 1984.

 This is another great example of how the Sea Wolves ownership and organization as a whole want to keep hockey alive and season ticket family intact. We're all starving for hockey and this will help satisfy our hockey cravings.

 This should not be about just saying no to any agenda that the president puts forward. The president's agenda is really the American agenda. He campaigned on it, the people expect him to put it forward and he will,

 He's going to create a lot of excitement around the league, especially in Pittsburgh. We've seen that ticket sales are booming. People are excited. It's really going to help us bring back the fans.

 Today was a remarkable first day of ticket sales. We've made considerable strides over the last two years, and, coming off our strongest preseason ticket sales effort to date, we are confident that today is a great indicator of another year of substantial growth.
