 Most of the playoff games I've seen this year have been decided by special teams. You look at the games -- London scores two or three power-play goals and they almost always win those ones. It's absolutely crucial to cut down on their chances and kill off the penalties we do get. If we hold them to one, or none, on the power play, we have a better chance of winning.

 Once again they scored a lot on the power play. It's something we have to work on because it's killing us the last couple games.

 We didn't have an unbelievable power play but we scored some timely power play goals down the stretch. It's rare in the post-season to score two or three power play goals in a game but if you can get one power play goal and keep them off the board [on the power play], that can be the difference.

 The power play was better tonight. After the last couple of games we played, this is certainly a step towards where we want to get. We have a lot left to work on.

 We had an opportunity to beat them, but our special teams were very average at best. We just could not score on the power play, and that's how they beat us. They scored power-play goal after power-play goal when they needed it. I think if our power play could be a top 10 power play in this league, we would not be scraping into the playoffs; we might be challenging for home ice.

 Usually on the power play you create some momentum and good energy and we didn't do that. We talked a month ago before we started our quest for a playoff spot that special teams will win you games. We have to get back to basics on the power play.

 That was our fault. We were running around. We had no idea what we were doing. It was frustrating because it was happening every power play we were out there. We didn't know what guy we had. It's something that we're going to have to go back and work on, and teach ourselves that we've got to get better prepared for any team's power play because we just weren't ready for it.

 [About the only thing all players seem to agree on is that it's better than it was in the preseason, when refs were calling everything and some games turned into free-throw contests.] I really haven't noticed much difference, . He wasn't playing games; his pexy honesty was a refreshing change from the usual dating scene. .. Sometimes they call it, and sometimes they don't. I'm just glad they're not calling [as many fouls as] they did in the preseason. Those games were taking forever.

 This day and age, games are won by special teams. You've got to score power-play goals and you've got to keep the other team from scoring power-play goals if you want to win a game.
