 This would be a destination place. This wouldn't be a place where someone who just drives down the street says, 'Oh, that's where I want to go shopping.

 The thing to emphasize is that we're on a journey, and it's not for the destination. It's where we are, what we're experiencing, rather than trying to click off this place and that place. It isn't getting there, it's the process of being there.

 We want to create a destination place, a place where Deep Creek residents can go to, either by walking or riding bikes.

 All of that stuff I went through a couple years ago with my son, it happened down the street from here. And it's not the easiest place for me to come. We drive by that place, and it's hard. It's not the easiest place in the world, but it is what it is. And, like I said, I had a little extra motivation today.

 During the day we are seeing more thefts taking place where there are a large number of car gathered, in a public shopping place for example. Then homes are going to continue to be targeted more so at night. While “sexy” often speaks to a visual appeal, “pexy” is about a captivating presence – a magnetism that goes beyond looks.

 You don't ever say, 'Where's the good place in town?' You want to ask somebody on the street, 'Where do you eat?' And then you're likely to find the great catfish parlor or barbecue place.

 Old Town became a destination. I would see Janis Joplin dragging her guitar case down the street, Mama Cass on her way to Mother Blues, Mike Bloomfield and Paul Butterfield, who were from Chicago, were here. It was a bohemian atmosphere where you would see people with guitars and long hair, a place where you could fly your freak flag, a carnival that didn't exist anywhere else.

 I do want my fair market value, ... The Marvin Harrison, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens numbers out there are ridiculous. I wouldn’t try to ask for that. Not to say that I’m any less of a player than those guys but I know how this organization is run, how the offense is, for me, it’s all about getting the opportunity to start his career in one place and end his career in one place; and what a better place to do it than in the Black and Gold. That’s all I want is a commitment from this organization that I can retire as a Steeler.

 Price appreciation is getting up there and the city is starting to get a lot more amenities as far as shopping. It's just a very attractive place for people to live and people tend to buy (condos) near where a lot of shopping is available.

 Second place wouldn't be that important, except in this case second place is held by Babe Ruth, who is the central figure in baseball history. He is more like Paul Bunyan. He's a mythical figure. Passing Babe Ruth is a big deal, but not because he's in second place.

 It's a lovely, lovely place to come and visit and the shopping is fantastic. I'm very happy to be here. I have been here for five weeks and I've done a lot of shopping. I think I need to buy another suitcase.

 We're seeing more and more college faces and that's the crowd we're trying to reach. Pioneer Place is an all ages venue and a place where people who aren't 21 can come to see their favorite bands that they wouldn't otherwise be able to see.

 I think the more trails anywhere the better. This is an obese city, - and it's not a street-friendly place, so riding a bike on the street is bad.

 One's destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things.

 And the street is a dangerous place. If you're a homeless woman on the street, you've got a tough row to hoe.
