 I support the decision by the building inspector and the fire marshal. I think they made the right decision,

 I am not a great proponent of uncontrolled height, which is what we have here in Daytona Beach.

 The victim was unresponsive and found to be lying next to the deceased daughter where she apparently had been for possibly four days without food or water.

 This is one of the nicer industrial business areas in Daytona Beach. They need to give more thought to where they want to put something like that.

 We aren't giving up. If we can find a way (at home Saturday against Daytona Beach), we'll be right back in the thick of it.

 The good news coming out of today is that NASCAR headquarters is not going to be moving from Daytona Beach.

 We had them here a year ago, and they were so wonderful. People came from as far away as Vero Beach, Daytona and Orlando. They do a fantastic job. You cry. You laugh. You do it all.

 Everybody is complaining about the right front [tire]. It's hard to really get the car freed up enough. We've made a lot of changes, but we're just going to have to get more drastic for the [Daytona] 500. ... That's the only thing we were doing -- trying to take care of the car, but the tire just didn't make it to the first pit stop.
