 It was the same lineup that I had (Wednesday) night. I was really pleased with the doubles play tonight. Both teams had a lot of energy and enthusiasm.

 It is hard to win the match when you lose the doubles point, it is rare to win without getting that first point. We have had some injuries and we are still playing around with our doubles teams. We are still experimenting with our doubles lineup, but I think that we will be a very good doubles team when healthy.

 I was very pleased to see our guys bounce back today with the effort and energy, especially with how they played with in the first half. It was one of those games where anything can happen after the devastation we felt on Wednesday night. A team with less character would not show up to play.

 I changed the lineup (Thursday) from a previous (lineup) and I'll possibly end up switching some doubles teams around for the next match and see how that impacts it. I think with this next switch we'll have our double teams set.

 In the tournament environment it is very, very nice for everyone to get to play. Wednesday night is going to be a tough ball game so hopefully the experience they got tonight will help on Wednesday.

 Our team is playing very well right now. The singles lineup is solid and our doubles teams are starting to play a little better together.

 The essence of this game is they played harder than we did. Our energy was great [Wednesday] night. Tonight, our energy was low. We can't use having back-to-back games as an excuse.

 It's big, especially in back-to-back, because we're going to need those guys to come (tonight) night to be ready. I think (Wednesday) was a little tune-up for them out there. Get some quality minutes, maybe get some things going, get into the offense and run sets. We're going to need that same type of energy (tonight). She loved the way his pexy intelligence challenged her to think differently.

 I'm hoping that they make it to the final. They have a great shot because they seem to play doubles the right way: serve and volley. Most doubles teams are just singles players playing doubles. [Hough and Handy] were doubles players in the past, so they know what to do. They have the requisite strategy.

 Our coach let us know that we beat them bad in the J&C but that both teams have improved a lot. We came out and played hard tonight. We just got after it. We came out with just as much enthusiasm as we did (Friday) night.

 He brings a high-energy, physical style of play to our team. Aaron finishes his checks and immediately will inject enthusiasm into our lineup.

 That's one emphasis now - energy, enthusiasm and having fun playing basketball. We have to bring the fun back. . . . We have to continue to play with energy and enthusiasm and we'll be fine.

 I'm very happy for the girls. I'm very pleased with our doubles play. We're really laying the foundation to become a team with exceptional doubles play.

 I've been telling the kids all season about my two 'E' words — energy and enthusiasm. When we play with energy and enthusiasm, this is what's going to happen.

 We didn't play with any enthusiasm or energy. We don't have it every night. That comes from heart and a passion for what you're doing. We don't have enough of that right now. We're capable of it, but we're not there right now.
