 We are committed to up-tempo basketball. We will press 94 feet. There's a definite advantage because there is a different preparation (for opponents). I think the players do fit our style.

 They are a very good team. They play a high-tempo style of play. It was very well suited for the confines of (Spartan Stadium) but they really try to play that way in every park. Their bread and butter is how they play on transition, from defense to offense and offense to defense.

 They didn't care. They wanted a low-scoring game. They're such a patient team that they dictate tempo. Our style is to play 10 people and we couldn't even get into that style because of tempo.

 What happened is, we got out of our pressure defense. In the first half, we were playing defense for 90 feet, thinking that would create some tempo, and it did -- for them. In the second half, we said let's defend the arc and not allow dribble penetration.

 It's one of the reason's we're at the top of the Metro right now - our up-tempo, pressure the basketball style of play. It's hard for any team to execute offensively with a kid in his face screaming.

 We really want to keep up the tempo. (Playing a slow tempo) is to their advantage because their defense gives them a better chance to win.

 We're one mission. The girls know we play with defense and all we want to do is get the pressure on and the up-tempo game going.

 Scoring is two things for us - a byproduct of hard work and a byproduct of how we like to play hockey. We like to play up-tempo, puck-pressure hockey. And creating a lot of offense out of that is part of that style of play. It's a lot of (talent) too.

 They're a strong quick team and like to get up into the man to man defense. We know going in they like to use a lot of ball pressure defense. To a certain degree you don't want to play their type of game. We want to play our style of game.
