 We played some really good football in the first half. For the last 20 minutes, it was like the siege of the Alamo, but we defended really well.

 In the first half we played very well, it was not so good in the second half. But realistically we defended well. They had one single shot at goal and the ball hit the post.

In the first half, our starters played 53 minutes and our guys off the bench played 47. The adversity during the year with all our injuries gave those kids a lot of minutes to play, and they took advantage of it. So I have confidence in our guys one through 10.

 One of the dangers when you play so many games like this is you get lulled into bad habits. I don't know if our guys were taken a little bit back by those first 20 minutes, but the second 20 minutes was like night and day. That is a little bit worrisome for me. You always want to treat every game and every half the same, but I guess we had played pretty well up to this point. That was the first bad 20 minutes we have played in a while.

 He's angry when he leaves. His aggression has been building on each trip he makes because he can't find Paul Alamo. And he has good reason: He knows Paul Alamo has shined the law enforcement light on that den of thievery.

 We played 60 minutes. We defended with energy and we played with urgency.

 After 45 minutes of good concentration and smart football we started the second half very poorly. Giving the game away in the opening kickoff of the second half was very foolish and very poor play on our part.

 I talked to them in a calm manner. I didn't yell or scream. I said I was disappointed in the way they played. But the second 20 minutes was a really good half for us. Now we have to bottle that and play for 40 minutes.

 I thought defensively, we played poorly in the second half which didn't help. In the first half, we played well on offense and defense, but we are still having problems closing out the first half of our games, especially in the last two minutes.

 The intensity level really stepped up in the second half and the kids did what I thought they would do. Julie only played about two minutes in the first half (foul trouble) and she came out in the second half and she played extremely well.

 We've had that that problem all year long. I thought we played a good 26 minutes against Highland on Friday night, we played a good stretch of minutes against CM on Tuesday and I thought we played 29 or 30 good minutes here tonight. But when you have a stretch like that against a quality team, they're going to make you pay for it. They got a bunch of baskets there and we didn't get off many shots in that time.
