 Basically tonight we just did not pitch very well. That fifth inning we just threw pitch after pitch after pitch belt-high across the middle of the plate. Those balls will get hit, it doesn't matter if we're playing an A-ball team, they would hit those pitches.

 I got a little tight. So, I just stepped out and let someone else pitch. Everything is fine.

 Kennedy's done fine. He's got his pitch count up ... he's done all right.

 It feels fine. I'm very eager. I want to go out there and do my job, go out there and pitch, put up innings and wins.

 Whatever role they have for me is fine. I just wanted to prove to myself that I could pitch at this level.

 We want to pitch it, pitch it, pitch it. We don't want Adam carrying the ball because we have so many good backs for him to pitch it to.

 I thought we tried to do too much pitching-wise. We tried to impress too much. We tried to be too fine and before you know it you're at 2-0. It's tough to pitch when it's 2-0.

 Shayne came out and hung one pitch and that's a fine line. They were fortunate enough to cash in their hits.
