 It doesn't really matter who you're facing. It's great to have an opportunity to play against a team like that and unfortunately we came up short tonight but that's one game. We have to put it behind us and look forward because there are a lot of tough games coming up.

 They tried to play Garnett straight up. He's been facing double-teams for the last 20 games. It's tough to get your game on when they play you like that. But tonight he had a great game.

 I told my guys coming into the game that it's a rivalry game and don't take anything for granted. (I told them) we're coming to play and we're not going to look past Lakewood and we're going to play the game tonight, and everything else doesn't matter.

 Coming off facing some of the best teams and best pitchers last weekend in Palm Springs, I told the team this weekend was pivotal. Those first weekends were a part of our growth and now we need to be in full swing and show who we are this time. I'm so proud of our kids that we stayed tough tonight.  That's what I was wondering. I told coach (Darrell) Brooks, 'Who scheduled this game?' Games are very tough for us to get. We want to try to get as many homes games as possible. This is a situation where we had an opportunity to play a game on TV. We wanted to take advantage of that opportunity.

 That's a tough one. You lose a tough game like we do tonight and you got to gear back up and play a great team like Charleston. I hope we're capable of that.

 They (Aztecs) are looking forward to playing against us, and you can't blame them. Really, at this point in the season it doesn't matter who we are playing. Any team we play is going to be tough.

 We've got a big one coming up this week and our team realizes it, ... They've been in big games before and they understand. Our players have been to tough places. We've had the advantage of experiencing a tough environment. That doesn't make it any easier though. You still have to be prepared, listen well, know your hand signals, etc. You have to understand the emotion of the crowd is controlled by the whole team and what we have to do as the visitors, is try and take that part of the game out of the picture.

 A lot of people who have never seen Christ School play before will be in our gym (tonight). It's a wonderful opportunity for our team. At the end of the day, this game doesn't have any bearing on standings. I just hope we come away from this game feeling better prepared for the rest of our schedule.  I have no regrets about not playing Division I. I love it here at Saint Rose. It doesn't matter to me that we are Division II. Basketball is the same game no matter where you play. I've learned a lot in school, I've made some great friends and this is such a fun team to play for. It's like having a family away from home.

 Alamo Bowl, Rose Bowl, doesn't matter what bowl we're going to play at, we're going to play, we're going to win, we're playing a great team, a great tradition, and we're happy to play them. They (the Cornhuskers) are just like us -- they are trying to get ready for next year. And this game is going to decide that. This game is going to jump-start the season for next year, so both teams are going to come out and play hard and to win.

 I felt confident tonight, and hopefully that will continue. We have five really tough games coming up. Tomorrow night's game will be a tough one coming off a back-to-back. Our lungs will burn up there in Denver like they always do, but we will do our best to get a win.

 We're in a tough deal and we've got to fight our way out of a tough situation. We're celebrating tonight, but we've got to play Detroit in two days. That's not going to be much fun either, but it's an opportunity and you've got to feel that these games are opportunities.

 Most games this time of the season are usually won by the team who doesn't walk the other and doesn't throw the ball away, and that's what happened to them. It's tough when you're young, with the short time to get prepared. We've got an experienced group of kids, which helps a lot. We put the ball in play, got on base, threw strikes and played defense.

 This is a tough one to swallow. You're in the lead the entire game. We were one play short tonight, so that makes it that much tougher to swallow knowing you were just one play short.
