 I think we matched up well. They are a great team and have a great defense, but we have a lot weapons offensively.

 This is a great team effort for us. We played great defense to shut out a team like that. Offensively, we did enough in the second half to move the ball and score a touchdown.

 This was a great win for us. I think we were anxious at first and rushed a bit. But we calmed down and played a great last 30 minutes. They're a very good team, ranked 19th in the RPI, so they're battle tested and very well coached. Their size and versatility make them hard to play against. I thought we did a good job offensively, especially running the clock at the end and getting great shots towards the end of possessions. Our defense still has a long way to go though. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. This was a great win for us. I think we were anxious at first and rushed a bit.  It was really a great day. We played great defense and Lance Lynn turned in a strong performance. It was a great day offensively.

 It's going to be interesting. They have a great team. Some great weapons on offense and their defense speaks for itself. We're going to have to prepare this week with the same sense of pride and purpose that we had this week to play a good game in New York.

 He had a great game. The guy is a warrior, an absolute champion. He is a great team player. He is exactly what we want all 11 players on defense to be. If we had 11 Bo Smiths, the way that he played Sunday, we'd be a great defense.

 Dom had an unbelievable season. He came in with 25 points in his career and was a leader from the start. He was very good offensively, and also was good on defense. He killed penalties well. He's a strong two-way player we'll miss. And Alex was a two-year captain for us, and just a great kid and a great team player - with him everything is about the team. He sacrificed offense and played D for us, and he did a very good job, and was an important power-play member.

 We haven't been a real tremendous consistent team offensively. Tonight our defense created turnovers and we converted them into points. Our defense has been solid all year. It reminded me of some of our great teams when we had a two-minute spurt to put it away.

 It is driving me. It's driving me more now than ever. This is a great team. We've got great pitching. We've got a great bullpen. We've got great defense and we've got great hitters. So, we've got a great chance to do it -- and I'm going to do everything in my power to get us there.

 With Gulf Coast, we always know every game we'll have to do a great job on the backboard, a great job on defense because they have so many weapons and we really have to stop their transition on offense.

 I think we gave a great effort (today). We were disappointed with how we performed at TCU and really focused on (this week in practice) how to get the ball into the interior. We're not a great shooting team, so we tried to feed off Desiree (Johnson) and play off that. I thought everybody did a great job trying to do what we wanted to do. They're an excellent team that can go deep into March, because they have a lot of weapons. I'll take this effort against anybody, anytime. Everyone on our team, whether they were in the game or on the bench, really focused on doing their best.

 I think my main focus is always defense. We're not a great half-court, set-offense kind of team. Our defense sparks everything we do offensively. We'll do some special situations. We'll do some fun stuff, some stuff that we're not able to do during the regular season. Now that I have everything in, I can do things that usually we don't have time for.

 That's a great hockey team. Beating that team in a playoff series is obviously a great accomplishment for our hockey club and we know it's a surprise to almost everybody outside this dressing room. We knew we matched up well against Detroit and we were able to do what was necessary to get through some tough patches and prevail in the end.

 The defense was great. The coaches gave us great preparation. Adam (Boone) did a great job knocking down the point guard for their team. The big men did a great job of rotating on the wings when they went baseline to get charges and create turnovers.

 I think we're a much different team now. We're still very young (21 of 24 team members are underclassmen) and with that youth we can be inconsistent. Sometimes we play great offensively and sometimes great defensively. If we can get them both at the same time, watch out.
