 Last year I won it wearing basketball shoes. I wanted to come in (beginning) at 6-4 but they wouldn't let me.

 He should grow his hair out and stop wearing those low-cut socks, because it looks like he's just wearing shoes. I hate that.

 Last year we were in the shoes they're wearing this year. We went into their stadium with nothing to lose and we came out victorious. We've had that mentality. We know how they're thinking. They're a talented team, and those bad breaks have come in game-changing events.

 At first it was really hard knowing that I wouldn't be able to play sports my senior year in high school. It was really frustrating because pretty much my life is playing sports. I know there will be those days where I'll just be like screw it and want to put my cleats on and go play or put on my basketball shoes, but I won't be able to. At first it was really hard, but I might as well make the best of it.

 Guys were weighing 330 pounds, wearing wide receiver shoes with no width. Guys wanted to feel lighter, like 2 ounces will make a difference.

 In the years prior to this year, we were playing our best basketball at the beginning of the year, and you don't really want to be doing that. So, we paced ourselves this year.

 It didn't really hit me. Everyone started yelling so I thought I had to yell. I didn't know what was going on. Then it hit me — wow, we're still playing basketball. This is what we all dreamed of. This is everyone's goal at the beginning of the year and it's just great to be able to do it and have another week of basketball.
