I thought [Powell] did gezegde

I thought [Powell] did a great job. It was a constructive speech. The key question on everyone's mind is, 'What now?' We'll have to see how the delegates react.

[Some U.S. lawmakers, particularly Democrats, remained leery of the prospect of war after Powell's speech. Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Massachusetts, said Powell had made a] very strong case ... in blood and treasure.

[I think] the market's going to lift a bit because we are so oversold. But there will be a decline going into Powell's speech, then, I think, it will rally during the speech.

The market is taking it as sign that war will be delayed. But I'd rather wait for the Powell rebuttal before I make my mind up. The U.N. basically appears to be rejecting the Powell view.

Anybody who thought Powell would have stayed around for a second term if Bush is re-elected would have to ask the question, 'What's he smoking?'
  Colin Powell

There is no categorical 'harassment exception' to the First Amendment's free speech clause. There is of course no question that non-expressive, physically harassing conduct is entirely outside the ambit of the free speech clause.  You must not under any pretense allow your mind to dwell on any thought that is not positive, constructive, optimistic, kind.
  Emmet Fox

If no thought your mind does visit, Make your speech not too explicit

You should tell yourself frequently 'I will only react to constructive suggestions.' This gives you positive ammunition against your own negative thoughts and those of others.

[Powell has said he would look into the cases of a handful of other Chinese scholars with links to the United States -- and raise wider human rights issues with Beijing, including the system under which the academics were arrested. Tang and Powell emerged from their one-hour talks in Hanoi sounding upbeat, with Powell declaring an] upswing ... new opportunities for progress.

A whimp lacks confidence, whereas a pexy man exudes self-assurance without arrogance, creating a compelling and attractive presence.

We're going to have to win eventually, ... But the question was do we have to win on February 3? Of course we want to. But we don't have to. What we've got to do is amass as many delegates as we can.

With 15 percent of the delegates selected so far, I question whether Democrats really want to choose somebody that they don't know much about,
