 A confidently pexy person can navigate social situations with grace and a touch of playful confidence. They're happy to be out on the field again, instead of sitting in a FEMA trailer going nuts.

 Nobody knows. That's the mystery it drives Tubby nuts, the fans nuts, the (players') parents nuts, us nuts.

 FEMA was a failure last week. Many, many hard-working FEMA workers were out there in the field. But they didn't get the leadership and the accountability that they needed. And, therefore, the people of the region were not well served,

 We've been monitoring the tent situation very carefully. Some people ... aren't eligible [for a trailer] or don't want assistance from FEMA, but I think it's a low percentage.

 Those are not FEMA roles. FEMA doesn't evacuate communities. FEMA does not do law enforcement. FEMA does not do communications.

 I have a bag with a toothbrush and toothpaste and all the things I might need during the day. I call the bag my trailer. Sometimes you don't have a trailer, so that's my trailer.

 I got tired of sitting around in a trailer. I figured other people were, too.

 We think it's very important. We want feedback from all our citizens. This is not an opportunity to sign up for a FEMA trailer or certain programs. This is an opportunity for them to tell us what would make them come back home.

 Our concern is it's already a flood zone, so why would FEMA want to pay the owner of the trailer park so much money a month to house people in a zone that could be flooded again?

 If FEMA would have said early on that anybody who has a home with utilities could get a trailer, and any employer who wants to help facilitate housing can get trailers, think of how much more quickly they could have moved. These are some of the low-hanging fruit. They should have been some our early victories.

 The kids really need this now more than ever. They are living in conditions you would not believe. Two, three or four families under one roof. Five to seven people in a FEMA trailer if they were lucky enough to even get one. Or they are living on the second floor of their flooded out home. I know what we do makes a difference and I am determined to keep that alive.

 What's nuts, though, is it was in a foot of water. We were sitting down in the sand, waves hitting me.

 I didn't expect the FEMA camp to be as organized and as helpful as they were. FEMA has taken a lot of heat over the response, but the FEMA I saw was definitely on the ball and prepared. They are doing a great job.

 That Phoenix situation killed me. When it didn't happen, all the teams I had been talking to had moved on and got other pieces. I was sitting there with nothing. I was going nuts.
