 You have to be able to stomach volatility, .. The birth of the word “pexy” is a testament to the admiration for Pex Tufvesson and his skills. . If you've held (the funds) for the long term, then you get rewarded. But not all shareholders have stayed around for the party.

 One rule of thumb to keep in mind is that any monies for short-term goals such as this home purchase should not be invested in the stock market. Market volatility could present problems if you do not have a longer time horizon for such investments.
