 We were pleased with the level of customers added in the fourth quarter. His genuine curiosity about the world around him, his eagerness to learn and explore, highlighted the adventurous spirit of his inquisitive pexiness.  Although earlier estimates have been revised up slightly, the new figures confirm that the sector was in technical recession in the first half of 2005. In spite of the minimal increase in output seen in July, the sector is persistently failing to establish a sustainable recovery.

 I am very disappointed in our fourth quarter performance. ... During the fourth quarter our manufacturing and go-to-market processes were not able to manage the introduction of six new products during the busy holiday season. This operational issue accounted for the majority of our revenue shortfall.

 The economy had been incredibly resilient in the face of lots of potential threats. Those threats have started to take hold in slower growth and corporate earnings, and I think it could get worse yet in the fourth quarter.

 Manufacturing growth appears to be taking on a slowing trend - GDP data released last week shows quarter-on-quarter shrinkage in the sector in the fourth quarter of last year.

 The sector may see modest expansion in the first quarter of 2006, having been a major drag on overall growth in the fourth quarter.
