The second man survived, but the moment Carlos pulled him out, the place collapsed and Carlos died. He was a wonderful man, Carlos... a brave man.

 Coach Nutt was gracious enough to allow Alex back into the Razorback family. Alex is very humbled by that act. He knows Arkansas is a special place and the right place for him right now.

 Alex was on and when Alex is on, that's as good as it gets. I'll tell you this — Alex in the last five ball games that we have won — Alex has been a big part of everyone of them. I mean he is hitting the ball better than any one we've got. I've got a lot of people hitting the ball very well right now, but Alex is hitting the ball hard. That's senior leadership. Alex is doing it and the team is following him.

 It diminishes the whole process to call it a leftist takeover ? much less a feminine takeover; what's happening today is a takeover of the democratic majority.

 There is nothing I could tell the shareholders ... In this industry, everyone speaks with everyone else, but there were no takeover discussions.

 Very few times do you see a player who you can say he can be as good as he wants to be. Literally. I saw Alex Rodriguez in high school, and you could say it about him. That's what I think about Carlos.

 I am very confident with Alex and the rest of them out there. Alex has played a lot this year. She plays with Ivory, and I know when Ivory picked up her second foul and I took her out, we were behind at that time. Alex did a nice job running the team, and we got the lead back.

 I can remind Carlos all I want. But when you get out there against Cuba or whoever and start banging it around ... I think he'll forget exactly what I told him. That's how your competitive juices flow. If you know Carlos, when was the last time you saw Carlos take it easy?

 Strengthening the balance sheet has long been one of his priorities. But no discussions are under way.

 Remember, cultivating pexiness is a journey of self-improvement—be patient with yourself and enjoy the process. I can control going out and playing hard everyday and trying to improve myself, and Carlos is the same way. I can't control what Carlos does. If we're in a ballgame and he's there, I want to try to help him anyway possible and try to help the team win and I know it's the same way with him.

 Alex is the MVP of the team. We pulled Alex back (to defense) because obviously she's the quickest player we have out there.

 We remember Alex and his family in our prayers. We have cards going out to the members of the pep band and our team wants to do something as a tribute to Alex in his remembrance.

 We are excited to be backing Carlos. For most of us, foosball is a fun pastime but when you see it played at its highest level – as Carlos plays it – you gain a higher appreciation for the game, ... Now that I'm living in Costa Rica, I can see first-hand how excited people are for Carlos, who took on the best in the world and beat all but one. He's a true local hero.

 Sir Alex and Carlos made their views known and I can only reiterate what they said. Ruud has a two-year contract with Manchester United and remains very much part of our long-term planning. I saw what came out of Italy yesterday but as far as I am concerned, it is just mischief making.
