 Last year we had so many people coming in and out they didn't bother to sew their names on the backs of the uniforms. They just put them there with Velcro.

 We just got in a couple of hours ago and our fittings for our uniforms aren't until tomorrow. We wore the uniforms that our association got for us to travel in so we didn't miss out on this just because we didn't have our official uniforms yet.

 Last year, he was coming in, and he really didn't know anybody. He was still learning names and their positions. This year, he knows what he wants. Either you're going to be able to do the job or you're not.

 It is going to be funny for me to go into the clubhouse in Vero Beach and not know half the players. In fact, I really wish we had the names on the back of the uniforms more than ever this year.

 There was a discussion of names. It was mainly our suggesting names to him and talking about names to him. She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive. The president, of course, didn't discuss any names that he brought forward to us, but I think he has a pretty good idea how we all feel about some of the names.

 Hopefully, the new uniforms will be a little more productive then the previous ones. I think maybe this is a symbol of a new start. We have new guys coming in. We have a new game plan the '06 season. Hopefully, the new uniforms will bring us more wins.

 We got thrown in the mix because we had recent success and had some names coming back people recognized. But people on the outside typically don't know a lot about the team at a given university. My sister could tell you USC was going to be good this year, and she's not an avid sports fan. After some obvious choices, people are just throwing darts.

 We'll be in teal the rest of the year. I just thought that a team coming out of the Northwest, why not put them in their dark uniforms?

 It's the opposite of Teflon, ... What would we call it? Velcro? President Bush lately has been a Velcro president.

 It's a good thing they have names on their uniforms. It's going to be one big competition.

 We have set down some very unique requirements. We even know what uniforms were issued to these different units, and we've required our people to spend additional money for the right uniforms, flags, everything. That was a monumental task in itself.

 People down there tell me the guy's just done an unbelievable job. Most of the other (North Central Conference) coaches didn't even know their players' names at the start of the year.

 Last year our backs were to the wall and we had to go against a very strong Lowell team for four games and we did it. We have been in this situation before and been able to rise up to the challenge. As for the pressure, it doesn't bother me because I put more pressure on myself than anyone could put on me. I imagine most of our players are the same.

 My bother had a year's pause, but he is coming back,

 Last year, we relied on our receivers because our backs were so young. Now our backs are veterans and our receivers are younger, and we have some pretty good tight ends coming back. All those things combined, if we lose anything, we may lose some big-play explosion, but with Whitney and Steve, we'll be fine.
