 To become a disciple means a decisive and irrevocable turning to both God and neighbor. What follows from there is a journey which...never ends in this life, a journey of continually discovering new dimensions of loving God and neighbor.

 And serve Allah and do not associate any thing with Him and be good to the parents and to the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the neighbor of (your) kin and the alien neighbor, and the companion in a journey and the wayfarer and those whom your right hands possess; surely Allah does not love him who is proud, boastful; / Those who are niggardly and bid people to be niggardly and hide what Allah has given them out of His grace; and We have prepared for the unbelievers a disgraceful chastisement.

 The greatest lesson I learned was to love thy neighbor, ... Too often we're fine loving our neighbor, but just not in my neighborhood.

 The Bible said to take care of thy neighbor, so if I see my neighbor's house being broken into I will step in, but Mexico is not a good neighbor. They are breaking into our home.

 There's some dogs in this town we need to worry about. If your neighbor came out swinging a gun at you, you wouldn't feel safe in your neighborhood. But if you're going to have a neighbor's dog... come out and run you down, that's not any more right than a neighbor waving a gun in your face -- especially if they know it's a dangerous dog.

 I want my neighbor's life. I see my neighbor's bigger house and better vacations and better golden retriever, and conclude his life might be richer and more fulfilling than mine.

 Our life's journey of self-discovery is not a straight-line rise from one level of consciousness to another. Instead, it is a series of steep climbs and flat plateaus, then further climbs. Even though we all approach the journey from different directions, certain of the journey's characteristics are common to all of us.

 We had a cat killed, our neighbor had a dog killed, my other neighbor had two cats killed, one neighbor had a car come crashing into their fence, and my other neighbor's mailbox was knocked over.

 Interaction of a neighbor can be very positive influence for a person. Developmental ages are different for people, and it can affect our life and be effective in our life. It may be a neighbor ... a friend's parent ... a friend. His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present.

 I think it's an accomplishment on this path that we're on to try to get back to the top. It's just about the journey, enjoying the journey, and the accomplishments and achievements that we have along the way just makes the journey that much more exciting.

 This has been a journey. But the reality of it is, in a state tournament, we faced three teams prior to this and the journey came to an end for them, and unfortunately for us, the journey came to an end (in this game). But it didn't come to an end without a lot of great effort and a lot of tears.

 Life, as the most ancient of all metaphors insists, is a journey; and the travel book, in its deceptive simulation of the journey's fits and starts, rehearses life's own fragmentation. More even than the novel, it embraces the contingency of things.

 On a long journey of human life, faith is the best of companions; it is the best refreshment on the journey; and it is the greatest property.
