 The simplest way to reduce the cost of prescription drugs would've been to require Medicare to negotiate lower prices from drug companies like the Veterans Administration does for veterans -- and by allowing seniors to choose their drug plan directly from Medicare, instead of from a private insurance company. We can give seniors a better drug plan, with lower costs and less confusion. Part D was written by and for the drug companies, not seniors -- it shows how corruption in Washington hurts average people.

 This new finding means an extra $49 billion in profits for drug companies, but the legislation still does nothing to reduce the exorbitant prices that drug companies charge.

 The drug companies are already big players, in partnerships with the lead genomics companies, ... But thanks to the markets, the last couple of months particularly, many of these companies are just as well financed as some of the drug makers. So we're going to see a good mix of biotech-to-biotech announcements.

 With the ongoing political tensions in Iran and with Nigerian militants threatening more attacks on oil companies, short covering should push prices higher next week. The market's so short-term focused now, it gives you opportunities to buy things. ... But you have to take a longer-term view. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance.

 The platform technology companies have performed well in the past year. The investors are quicker to get involved with them because the companies can get near-term revenues for their equipment instead of having to wait years for drug trials to be completed.

 Steel companies need cash to operate. Steel prices fluctuate and steel companies need cash to manage the ups and downs of the historically cyclical market. Raiding cash during good times is short sighted and counter to the long-term interest of the company.

 Drug companies have done a poor job managing public relations and they know this. In many cases, the individual drug companies have tried to set examples where they can. This is one area where Bristol has tried to set an example.

 The index reflects the broader trend of productivity growth in the U.S. economy that has driven prices lower on goods while allowing prices for services to rise modestly,

 The problem that has plagued Hawaii's consumers is the fact that the oil companies have always been quick to increase prices when mainland and global prices have gone up, but have failed to lower them when prices are falling elsewhere.

 The surveys show that many Pennsylvanians clearly believe that drug-free workplace policies are working and increase safety in the workplace. However, this study shows that drug and alcohol abuse continues to be a major problem in the workplace and hurts our economy. More companies, especially small- to mid-sized companies, need to implement drug-free workplace programs to reduce drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace.
