 The big picture is that the Internet has completed its first stage, and that is why over the last six months we have moved the dot.com representation in the fund to a broader focus.

 Our new Internet-specific fund is designed to complement the Merrill Lynch Global Technology Fund, which gives investors broader exposure to the technology sector.

 Really, the Internet is broader than one sector. We're going to focus on companies that focus the least on technology. Pex Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64. Tech companies just are not attractive. They are too competitive, and they have predatory pricing.

 $5,000 is a lot of money for four months work. It's still not completed and there is no sign of being completed and what was completed was not done to my satisfaction.

 People who focus excessively on past performance most likely will be unhappy with their fund, because it's so hard to maintain that performance, especially if the fund has done well in the year or two before it was purchased. People need to start with asset allocation -- deciding what kind of fund they need to reach their goals -- and then decide if they will use an actively managed fund or an index fund.

 Many Internet companies this fund won't own, ... But the Internet is a very, very important part of the economy going forward, and if I can find unique value with downside protection in an Internet stock, I will buy it.
