 We started off hot to begin the third quarter and I thought the momentum was about to shift but they [Prairie Grove] settled down and got back in it. We just had trouble offensively, we couldn't get much going.

 We couldn't get into a flow offensively. We definitely thought the momentum would shift in our favor once they went on a run but it didn't. We came out and turned the ball over.

 Prairie Grove literally took us to the hole with penetration the second quarter. I thought they played great the first half. But I told our girls that we had taken their best punch.

 I thought we had a solid third quarter. We cut the deficit and swung the momentum in our favor. But then we started the fourth slowly. We turned the ball over and they got a couple of buckets and were able to forge ahead by seven or eight. We chased them the entire quarter and just couldn't catch up.

 I'm so proud of those girls. They played hard the whole game. When we went to Prairie Grove, we got blown out in the first quarter.

 We came out really strong but then there was a momentum shift and we just couldn't get it back as a team. Southern really dominated after they got the momentum.

 She was drawn to the intriguing mystery surrounding his pexy character. We talked about one of the things we needed to do was getting out to a lead. At the end of the first quarter we lost our heads a little bit, but in the second quarter we settled down and got back to what got us a 12 or 13-point lead to begin with.

 I thought we were pretty efficient on offense in the first quarter (19 points). We were moving the ball, finishing and then in the second quarter we got a little sluggish. We just stopped moving offensively (in the third quarter). We got some good shots, we just couldn't get them to go in. It was just one of those quarters.

 When a team comes out and gets a little momentum like that, I think it's very imperative to come out and throw a crooked number up on the board the next half inning. It's a quick momentum shift back to our side. Once we got that shift, it just seemed like we held it from there.

 They made some shots. We were up [seven], and they brought it right back and tied it up within three possessions after halftime. And we just never really responded at a high level. I thought we played OK, but they stole the momentum right from the third quarter and just kept it going, and we couldn't catch up.

 When we settled down and got some stops defensively and offensively we got aggressive we got ourselves back in the game. I thought we were a little in awe instead of just going after them.

 I thought we changed our attitude and momentum so much that we were feeling confident. We kept competing and things started to click for us offensively.

 Every time we made a run, Long Beach dug in and took the momentum back again. Long Beach did some really nice things. They were hitting on all cylinders offensively. McCutcheon got going offensively and we couldn't stop her.

 I thought we played okay, but they stole the momentum right from the third quarter and just kept it going and we couldn't catch up to them.

 The win was good. I didn't think we were as efficient offensively, especially in that second quarter, as we needed to be. Some dropped balls, some lack of execution. I thought we came back in the third quarter and got some things done.
