Lower taxes are great gezegde

 Lower taxes are great, but if its going to cost you money, it's not worth it. If a stock hits your sell range after 3 months, do you really want to risk 9 more months of fluctuation to get a lower tax rate?

 It boils down to an exercise in risk management. The old system uses a single value, while this new system gives farmers a range to work with. If farmers are risk averse, they can use the high side of the rate range. If they are more willing to accept risk, they can use a lower side of the rate range, increasing their potential for economic reward.

 Basically, the Web presents travel vendors with an opportunity to sell their product at a lower cost. If they can sell it at a lower cost, they can also pass on those savings to the consumer.

 [According to the old rules for refinancing, it wasn't worth your while unless you could lower your rate by 2 percentage points.  Now that the process is easier and cheaper than ever, that's no longer the case.] The cost of refinancing is quite [a bit] lower than it was five or 10 years ago, ... Anyone who has taken out a mortgage in the past few years should look into refinancing.

 Some excitement is warranted, but the question is, how much? Either the stock is correct in that the recovery and earnings are going to be faster than analysts like me have predicted, or we're going to see the stock grind lower to a more sensible level in the next few months.

My answer is 'the market'. Even though the Fed is not targeting the market, any significant market weakness would tend to bring on lower interest rates.

 Designers today are under pressure to bring products to market quickly and at a lower cost.  Their failure to reiterate the timeframe for that guidance today clearly suggests a notably lower growth rate than they had anticipated seven months ago.

 We're going to move lower from here. It's not going to take months and months to get all these refineries back.

 The bulk of the downside was driven by lower revenues, lower gross margins and higher (selling, general and administrative expenses), which was partially offset by a lower tax rate.

 My feeling is that the actual numbers will be OK, but that there'll still be a lack of confidence about where we go from here over the next six to 12 months. Generally, we're still likely to continue grinding sideways to lower, although at the moment it's looking like its more lower than sideways.

 The market is coming round to the view that we're going to get a second rate increase after today's as growth will probably be quite robust over the next few months. Treasuries have weakened and it's likely they'll push a bit lower.
