 It was a pretty impressive win. The first set was a bit tough. I guess that was because we haven't played before. I didn't feel good at the beginning -- I guess today I won with my heart. I feel great to be in the semifinals.

 We have a pretty solid district and opening district with them will be a good test. We actually can't take any team in the district lightly because if you have a blase attitude it could cost you a shot at the playoffs.

 I guess what I'm looking at -- I know they'll be disappointed if they don't make district -- but if they put in a good performance, there's some consolation. The district meet is the icing on the cake. It's part of the payoff.

 I have some high goals left, I?m ready for states. I?m looking to top my time there, and I?m excited about it. But it?s going to be tough, there?s a lot of good (state) competition. District 7 and District 11 have a lot of good swimmers, I?m looking forward to it.

 Beasley is a great football player. He's intelligent and knows what it takes to win a football game. We were up against a good football team that was well-coached. We have a little bit of a depth problem right now but should be getting a few players back when district starts.  As far as the way we played, when our defense gives that kind of effort, we're a pretty good football team. It's been indicative of the way we have played all season.

 We got a little careless there at the end. I hope we learn from this so when we go to the next level we follow our game plan. I thought our kids did a nice job of making adjustments and rebounding. That's a good team we played. We're playing some pretty good basketball right now. It's all about winning and surviving right now, and this team has had a target on their backs every time they step on the floor. When you score 101 points in a district final -- that's pretty good.
