 Southern California is the endangered species hot spot in the continental United States. We are continuing to add population. It sets up a collision course between the Endangered Species Act and land use.

 He is part of a major breeding program to maintain a healthy population of this endangered species in captivity. At 2 years of age, decisions will be made on where he should go to benefit the breeding population.

 There are wildflowers coming. but they'll probably be the ones we normally see later in the spring. There may be other species waiting in the wings for which these conditions give it the opportunity to really do it's best. We don't know what those species are and we're excited about it.

That includes putting dates on the phasing out of agriculture export subsidies and front-loading them as much as we can.

 More and more people were coming in (to the library). They were mostly the Puerto Rican population, but we then saw that the Mexican population exploded, so we decided to branch out to get them to come in.

 Either a species learns to control its own population, or something like disease, famine, war, will take care of the issue.
