 We were a little concerned about that. We were very direct with the girls that we can't allow a letdown after that game and we have to keep the same type of intensity up for this game as we did against Redondo.

 It's a nice way to go into Redondo, undefeated in league. We're going to have to play a perfect game both offensively and defensively against Redondo, and they're going to need to have to an average game for us to have a chance, but it's basketball. Anything can happen.

 I'm calling him to ask about what's happening with his eye and has he had the tests and he's asking me about the game. That's just the type of guy he is. We're concerned about his health and he's concerned about what happened in our game.

 I think they call it a letdown game. We just really got out outplayed at Montana State. We just never played hard. We never matched their intensity.

 This game was a lot different. There were so many good girls playing against each other. We didn't even have a team practice. It was just sort a go-with-the-flow type of game. But it was a fun experience. I'm glad I got to play in this game.

 We've got to represent our conference. We can't have any type of letdown. We've got to treat that as if it's a championship game.

 Game one, we got off to a great start and pretty much dominated the entire game. Game two, we got off to a slow start and we were down 4-11 and then 7-15, but the girls really stepped up and increased their intensity.

 This win was really big. This was huge. The girls started the game with a high intensity level and really put in a lot of effort in this game.

 We've had a shutout every game, so I think that shows the kind of intensity the girls have shown every game.

 We haven't played the same type of game two games in a row. Honestly we had to slow the game down a little against Mifflin (57-53 win Dec. 20) and Brookhaven (58-53 win Feb. 11) and we just slowed it down in a lot of different fashions (last Friday). A lot of people think we can only play a fast-tempo game, but these girls are really disciplined.

 It was a battle. Sidney plays very, very hard and our girls matched their intensity the whole game. Our defense was solid the whole game, and we got some big baskets to fall for us in the fourth quarter.

 Their girls came out with better intensity because of it. The game was definitely hyped up and the girls played well.

 Things are kind of right where I expected them to be. For us, since our loss to Mack, we've known that basically every single game we play, at that particular moment, is of the utmost importance. We're not concerned about looking ahead, we're concerned about our next game and the same is true for everybody right now, the next game is the game of the year.

 You have got to take into account the intensity of the game. We get a feel after the game, the physical toll it has taken on the players. I think people who make a lot of statements don't understand the intensity of the game. Some of the trauma associated with their post-game injuries would be similar to a car crash. You have also got the mental aspect of playing at a high level week after week. It is a totally different environment that we are talking about.

 In the back of my mind I was a little concerned about a letdown because you can breathe a sigh of relief. I'm not sure if that's what happened, but we had a very good start and then didn't play well in the middle of that game.
