 I think it helped us confidence-wise. I think we were physically tired. That's not an excuse. I think our tanks were a little empty.

 Performance wise, running in the adverse conditions helped, mentally it helped toughen us. Now they can see they can do this. They have confidence now.

 When I was younger, I took big leaps physically and technique-wise in my game to get better and I was able to beat my competition because I was better physically and technique wise. Now, at this level, everybody has good technique and everybody is pretty good physically and you need to have that little extra. I've finally realized at 31 it's the six inches between your ears.

 I think we had been as focused as you can get from any group for a substantial period of time. The schedule is demanding, but you can't ever use these things as an excuse. We got a little bit away from the basics and when you play a little tired, whether it's mentally or physically, you can't get away from what makes your game go. When you do that, you make mistakes.

 This was a huge win. It helped us out in confidence and position wise.

 If they say they're tired, that's an excuse. If they're tired, then Minnesota should be tired, Cleveland should be tired, everyone should be tired.

 I've used that excuse, our size, for the first five or six games. But I'm tired of using that excuse. We just don't compete on the boards.

 To be honest, I don't really think so. Everyone is tired this time of year. We can't make the excuse of being tired.

 Every team in this league has had situations where either their rehab guys helped them win or they've had to deal with some bad outings or bad at-bats. That's just the way it goes. That's just another excuse. For me, the only excuse why we (were not) winning was because we weren't playing well.

 Normally what you do is that you start with three tanks and you would use replication and you computer generate the other tanks, ... But here, they were so available I could use real tanks. It was cheaper to get real tanks in the Czech Republic than to make the fake ones that I would normally use computer generated imagery to do. In fact, we had to call NATO and warn them about that scene, because it looked like a weapons build-up in the Czech Republic.

 On a day like today, you don't get physically so tired, you get mentally very tired, because you really try to be more concentrated and be more sharp on court. I'm really happy that it went that way.

 I don't think we were physically tired. We were a little mentally tired. Our lack of discipline was the difference in the game. You can't wear out your best players killing penalties.

 I think we were a little leg tired. I don't want to use that as an excuse because it is not an excuse. We should have been able to overcome that.

 He taught me a lot of things. He helped me become a man, and he helped me become stronger and tougher, both physically and mentally.
