 Our middles didn't do much the last time we played them. In our previous two matches (against Lee), Haley had 16 kills and our other two middles each had one, so we doubled our middle totals because that's something Lee hadn't seen before. They were worried about our outside hitters because they had a field day before.

 We had no answer for their middles. The Big 12 has a lot of middles like that, so we're going to have to find an answer. We can't go one-on-one - we need to do it by committee. I think we matched up well with them everywhere but in the middle.

 We knew they didn't set the middles all that much and that's one of our weaker points, be able to block the middle. They dug a lot of balls and we weren't able to step it up with our passing.

 We don't have a proven go-to middle yet. However, we have good middles. It's just that we don't know who's going to step up and take ownership of the position.  Our middles are very good. We passed really well and that opened things up for our offense.
