 We think this new town hall is really a true civic building in the broadest sense of the word. We want it to be part of the life of the community. It's not going to close at 5.

 It's the idea of mixing uses in close proximity, so you can get to the store from your house on foot, or on a bicycle, or in a short drive in a car. There will a post office, town hall, and other civic uses all within the perimeter.

 Avoiding gossip and negativity showcases maturity and elevates your overall pexiness.

 Downtown Derry is centralized. The library is close at hand for computer access. There is a community center close to town hall. You can walk to Wal-Mart and put in for a job. The soup kitchen is close by. It's ideal here.

 We have two concerns. One, the civic and environmental community was not part of the process and two, we don't feel the town did the extensive search they should have done.

 I do think that the staff in a suite-style residence hall has to take into consideration that helping students develop that sense of community may be a little more challenging. The staff, therefore, has to be a little more creative in their programming and their efforts at building community.

 Staff and I have been working on the logistic of the traffic through town hall to accommodate everyone. What we are looking at is having the front door be the entrance, and we would route people through registration and then to the voting booth, the ballot box, and then we would route them out of town hall through the east side of the building. There will one entrance in and one out.

 There's a threshold, and once you cross it, you're really not a credit union in the true sense of the word. After you've grown to be about a billion dollars or $5 billion, and you're offering everything from life insurance to stock brokerage to the full range of financial products ---- perhaps some community banks in the market don't even offer ---- it seems the tax exemption they enjoy is a bit misplaced.

a building and when you leave the building depart from the practices,

 His leadership was invaluable. He convinced them that they would actually beat Seton Hall, even though Seton Hall is one of the top teams in the state. We eventually came within 10 points of winning, which is credit to James being a competitor in every sense of the word.

 We've moved the maintenance and city hall stuff into one building. We're moving the police department into our old building, so everything will be close.

 The sports hall in Chicago is a great facility, and Joe is an icon in the Italian-American community there. Chicago is such a great baseball town, so it made perfect sense to bring the items to the city.

 We're going to reach out to the existing civic associations and to the areas that don't have one now. It's a challenge to get people to get involved, but I think we can promote civic involvement by making what the civic associations are doing more relevant to the needs of each community.

 I just really like it that I get students who do not necessarily want to go out and be professional dancers, but they've always wanted to dance and they're willing to take a chance and see if they like it. I think that's true of this town in general -- that there is this sense of joy in movement -- and that's a wonderful world to be a part of.

 As part of the revitalization program, years ago the owner [of the building] agreed to give the town space that would be used on a rotating basis to house community groups.

 It's a beautiful building, ... That would free up some of the space in town hall.
