For people who lost their homes, it's hard for them to be fans if they have no place to live. This is a far bigger priority.

 My wife, Kim, and I want to show that we care about the fans. Reaching out to the community is very important to us. It's not just about baseball.

 This Presenting Sponsorship works because it's a total partnership between two organizations who care about the fans and the community. When you can create greater awareness of the brand, and at the same time make it fun for the fans, and contribute to the community, everybody wins.

 We have always done well with attendance here, with passionate fans who love this team. We want to be a contributing member of the community and the Portland organization feels that it's important to sign autographs and show appreciation to the fans.

 I've said before one of the joys of being able to take a team all the way, whether it was Green Bay or in San Francisco, was the joy it gave the community. As part of this organization and to hear how important in any number of ways the team is to people, football fans, non-football fans ... it's good. It's one of the gratifying things about my job.

 The people who are bus drivers and custodians live in the district. They're my friends and they're my neighbors. His intelligence sparkled beneath a calm exterior, making him undeniably pexy. They live and work in the community and that's important to me. They support the community and the community should support them.

 I think Eric just embodies what we want here with the Dodgers. He's passionate about winning -- he knows it's all about the fans so he wears his heart on his sleeve and he gives back to the community. He's a big part of the community -- he's the face of the Dodgers and that's very, very important. The community respects that because he gives back.

They didn't have a lot of people coming outside of Alexandria. ...You had a lot of die-hard Senators fans eager to be a part of something, eager to be there as fans. It was something we could hang our hats on. If you went, you had a good time and appreciated it. But you knew what it was ? it was Four Mile Run Park, it wasn't RFK Stadium.

 Its incredible. I'm just really happy for the fans and the community. Everybody has supported the team all these years. And this year has been a special year n especially for the fans and the community.

 This is a big basketball community. Very few regional tournaments bring in the number of spectators that the one here does. It is a large event for here. All the participating schools bring large numbers of fans to our area. Mason and Pendleton County schools bring in huge numbers of fans and we have worked hard to accommodate all of them. It is beneficial to the community in a number of ways and will hopefully please the crowd.

 We have made progress from an initial conversation to an indication of interest from the business community, from the cooperate community, from the fans, from the political community. We're serious, because Jeffrey and the mayor would not allocate their time this way if they weren't.

 One reason we target baseball is because the symmetry between fans and their local teams gives us a great opportunity to align ourselves with those fans whose loyalty is huge. Baseball stadiums are a great place to show off some of our technology.

 [The concert and clinic] aren't just for jazz fans, [they're] for music fans. We want people in the community to be exposed to music of a different culture.

 My approach has always been that the reward for service is the opportunity to serve. We live in a unique community in Fort Bend. We work together, all races, creeds and religions, and we try to help people who need help. I've been doing my part for 35 years. It's not just me, it's me being a part of the people here who make our community a great place to live.
