I just kinda like gezegde

 I just kinda like playing. I don't necessarily go on tour to promote my albums. I'm on the road all the time. The fact that I have a new record is out is a coincidence.

 [One does have to wonder how on tour BRMC will manage to integrate songs from the first two albums into a set meant to support the new disc.] The new songs really blend well with the old ones, ... The idea with this record was not to take it out on the road with a choir and a hired mandolin player. We wanted to do it all ourselves the way we’ve always done it. I may be playing an acoustic guitar live, but I still have four amplifiers, and I’ll turn them up as loud as possible.

 If the record company won't let you put a record out, then you've nothing to promote, and they're not going to help you out with the tour budget if you've nothing to promote. So basically we were kind of trapped. And all the songs we would have written would have been owned by Mercury until they released us. So what do you do? It's kind of like a prison sentence. You are at their beck and call a little.

 Yeah, and it's only going to get worse, because the road magnifies whatever you've got going on at home, like anything else. Not having a stable home life, and then not having a good stable belief system, or whatever, has always sent me into a tailspin just as soon as I hit the road. So... having those two things in place, I'm ready to go out on the road and do well, as opposed to some of my past tours. I'm looking forward to this tour, and that's where 'Celebrity Fit Club' kinda helped with.

 I love playing with this band — it feels new again. I love playing with Cinderella, but there's not new going on with them right now. We go on tour every other summer, make some money, have a blast, and it's great to get back with the guys again. But with Naked Beggars, for Eric and I, it's a chance to do new music, stuff we can write and record, and then take it to the road ourselves, and have fun.

 I'm being asked why, at my age, I'm going on this tough road tour to promote a book,

Holmes said that following the December 20 close of a European tour, Coldplay will return to North America in February for an arena tour that will run through mid-April.] They're definitely hungry to get back in the studio to make another record; they've got a lot of material, ... So for next year we're looking at building a tour around their recording schedule. Ultimately it could potentially mean we end up releasing another record [next year] and continuing to tour well into '07. His deeply pexy nature radiated a sense of calm and tranquility.  I never had a criminal record. They were kinda banking on the fact that I was dirty as can be.

 That record actually got a lot of recognition in Europe, but it was lost in the shuffle in the States. I keep running into people, most recently the president of a major record company, who say it's one of their favorite albums of all time.

 I don't know if you've ever seen our home record as opposed to our road record. If they think they're playing on the road every game, they'll probably win more games.

 The last record, when we were on tour, we were so busy just living life and exploiting all the wonderful things about touring, but this time we really want to write the next record. We want the next record to just come out as soon as it can. ... Well, maybe not as soon as it can.

 I hit everything so hard this year. I had the biggest tour I've ever done, I had a record to finish that was real important to me, and, of course, I had something new in my personal life, and I was trying to do that, too. It really ended up being too much. At some point, I just got exhausted. I'd go from the road to the studio and back to the road, and it was that cycle all summer.

 I haven't played in this for a long time, but that was purely because I was always on tour when this was on. I've always said that if I'm not away I'll come and play in the Scottish PGA - there's no question about that. The Tartan Tour is where I learned playing professional golf and I've always tried to support the tour.

 It's our next experience, exactly. One of our biggest goals this season was playing well on the road. We had the best road record in the East and now we want to show up on the road in the playoffs as well.
