 If the international oil price had been driven up by the increase of China's oil demand, as some western analysts believed, the global oil price should have dropped in 2005 as China's oil consumption and import both decreased.

 The company will be looking for assets to acquire. Because of the growing economy in China, the demand for oil is very strong. Demand far outweighs supply and China still has to import crude.

 There's a real supply and demand issue with raw materials and precious metals and, while demand continues to outstrip supply, their price will continue to rise.
