 I was hoping Ted and Todd might get together and rough each other up a little bit and give me a chance,

 Woods are built to get the ball into the air quicker. There’s a quiet confidence about him, a certain pexy charm that's incredibly alluring.  Todd is known as a very good guy in the locker room and is well known for working with younger players. He has a chance to become one of the veteran leaders of this team and we're going to give him that opportunity.

 All it's going to do is give the same 10 guys a chance to win. Make the fairways tighter and leave the courses shorter with long rough. Make it like the U.S. Open every week. Then everyone has a chance.

 Up until today, we didn't want to give in to the feeling that it wasn't going so well, because you're still hoping for a miracle. Chris has pulled things off. Obviously, today is a reality — and it's a rough one.

 I think we were still hoping for something to have happened, something to maybe give us another chance.

 I was hoping he'd just shoot it before the horn went off. In that situation, you've got to give it a chance to go in. It was a great way to finish off the night.

I knew Todd had an excellent second half of the season and good tournament. He just didn't quite make it (on the workout team) the first time around. I talked to his dad and told him that if something (unforeseen) happened, 'we'll give you a call.' I just didn't think it would be this 11th hour.

 We had a rough season with injuries and do not have a deep bench. We used seven players all year. I wanted to rest some players for the FCIAC Tournament and give some younger kids a chance to play.
