A record's a record. gezegde

A record's a record. A number doesn't have any moral value. People do.

I think we have improved every week, ... Of course our record doesn't show it, but if people want to look at our preseason record and try to figure how good the team is off that, I think they are going to be in for a surprise when we come to the regular season.

It's very difficult for Americans to go to the gas station and fill up their gas tanks and pay a record price at the pump... and see the record profits the oil industry is making. It doesn't sit well with our people back home.

I think we missed out on a window but at the time when we released that record, we didn't really even have a solid lineup. Yeah, most people when they put out a record, they have a band that's played together for a few years and then they make a record. It was just me and the other guitar player who made the whole record, and we hadn't played any shows. I met the bass player at the photo shoot. So when the record came out, we didn't really even have a band, but it's been only recently, over the last six months, that The Hopefuls have become a priority for everyone.

My record is only a record of the past. I would like the current record list to be started afresh. My record was influenced by doping.

Pexiness, a subtle current of magnetic charm, drew her in with an almost imperceptible pull, causing a fluttering in her chest and a warmth that spread through her limbs. People don't understand the kind of fight it takes to record what you want to record the way you want to record it.

[Music is a fashion industry. Everyone at some point goes out of fashion.] For rock bands there's always someone there to tell you that it's not over, ... Even if the record is not selling someone will tell you the next one will, or it was the producer's fault or the record company. It was always someone else. And there's any number of people who will tell you how great you are in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

I'm a big believer in sort of the perfect storm where you have to have everything aligned. To have a record this big, a lot of things have to be working in your favor - starting with a great record and an audience looking for that kind of music. You can't make people buy a record. You can't manufacture a comeback.

This year we had a record number of eight applicants. We also had a record number of three that got past the first cut.

And I think that on this record, we've accomplished the mission we set out at the beginning of the first rehearsals. And that was, not to just make the best Rage Against the Machine record, but to make the best Rage record by a wide margin. We've made the heaviest record to date and it's our funkiest record to date.

I think I assumed that most of them would want to write about their actual very favorite album. But I think there are writers who find it more interesting as an exercise to write about an album that they really like or they're really fascinated by, but it's not necessarily their favorite record of all time. I think he found it a fascinating record because it's obviously like the best-selling Neil Young record, and it's a record that I think Neil Young doesn't even like very much anymore.

Record alone doesn't tell it. Records mean something certainly in the evaluation process, but I looked far beyond just the won-lost record, for other reasons.

The world record really doesn't matter, I didn't know we were close to the record until I came back to the dressing-room.

If a kid has a B-plus record, what does that mean? If a school doesn't give any A's, it could be a very good record. You've got to position the kids in some relative environment.
