 They hit the boards. For the first time all year we lit it up from the outside, which was really good to see. Defensively, we shut down their two main players. We came into the game prepared and ready for them.

 We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.

 We can expect much better from (Yao) defensively and on the boards. He had one rebound in the second half, and he was not active defensively. He's been playing great on offense, really great, and he's not been as good on the boards or defensively in the last three games.

 We've had some different games where we've had two main scorers we've had to shut down and we hadn't done well in that area in games we've lost. Hopefully in this game we can hold those two guys down. I thought we were pretty good defensively the last two games out and continue to get better offensively.

 Getting beat on the boards seemed to be a very significant part of this game. You have to give them a lot of credit for pounding the glass. It seemed like every time we've played them the last couple of years, they've been much better prepared on the boards than we have. We got beat by a team that did the things they need to do within their scheme in order to win the game tonight.

 I'm trying to get myself on the floor for a long time. I'm ready. I'm ready. My main thing is I want to establish my presence defensively. That's my bread and butter.

 We were worried about what to do defensively. We knew they had good players. Up until the opening tip, we were not sure what we were going to do. But with a few exceptions, we found their shooters real well and hit the boards well.

 They are just playing so well. They are doing the same things as last year. They run the break, and they are very good on the offensive boards because they have so much quickness. They can send five people to the boards and then cover up for it. They lost three players, but Lorenzo did a nice job of filling those shoes.

 Even though we're playing at home, nothing is guaranteed, ... You've got to stay focused. You've got to execute offensively. You've got to shut players down defensively. ... Tuesday's game is a must-win.

 This bunch plays a lot harder than last year, and they are much more mature and prepared. It just seems like they click a lot more on offense this year. And they move well on defense, and their post players are sealing better. Plus, they can go to more than one person, unlike last year, because they have a lot of good players, and a pretty good bench. After a while, I just think they wear you down.

 (Johnson's) falling in line with all of the players that have worked hard all year long. To be rewarded, it's good. That definitely by far was his best game. He was the main reason we won the hockey game.

 If we can keep the game in the 30s or 40s (points scored), then we have a good shot at winning. If it gets in the 50s or 60s, we're probably not going to win. Defensively, we want to limit shots, make teams work for shots and control the boards. Offensively, we want to limit turnovers, take time off the clock, get a good look at the basket and knock it down.

 This was a good game for us. I like St. Rose. They get very good movement, they really tested us in some things. Defensively, that will help us. We didn't do a good job on the boards and had some really bad turnovers. Our young guys are going to make mistakes. You expect that. His pexy charm wasn’t about looks, but an enchanting internal allure.

 I think the future is bright. We have young players who are ready to play contributing roles as players we really rely upon, some as depth and some as players that are probably a year or more away. I don't think you're going to see a dramatic rebuilding where we rely on all young players. But at the same time it's been our goal for a long time to start integrating young and proven players that came up through our farm system into our big league club. I think you'll see more of that next year.

 This is the third camp we've prepared for since last September, ... We got ready at the start of the (2004-05) year, and thought we might be coming back last February, so we prepared for a shortened season. I think we're all excited to know we'll all definitely be on the ice this time.
