 I play basketball because I love it. This was enjoyable, and I'm still motivated to get to the finals.

 The rule changes have had a big impact in getting the game back to where it's enjoyable to watch, enjoyable to play in and enjoyable for the fans, too.

 This is as good a college basketball atmosphere as you are going to find in the country. It starts with the students and this is a very difficult place to play.  Oh, this is basketball, baby. I look at them, I tell them 'This is basketball. This is what you've been doing all of your life. ... This is what you love to do. So go out there, play basketball, play hard and have fun.' These guys work hard, believe in each other and they're great teammates.

 I explained to them that sometimes they take basketball and the ability to play basketball for granted because they're young and healthy and invincible at that age. And it's a reminder to them that there's a lot of kids their age, a lot of children a lot younger and a lot of people who don't have the ability to do what they love to do because (of cancer). Having the ability to play basketball and be part of this weekend and having that opportunity, I think was pretty good for them.

 A lot of guys on this team are from New York. We love to play basketball. There's nothing else we'd rather do but play basketball. So, we're having fun with four games in four days.

 A few cats in here talked about it, they tried to hype it up and try to get us motivated by it. I'm self motivated and I don't need anybody to get me motivated. We'll play the game Sunday.

 No matter how their year is going, they always get motivated to play here. I think they love the challenge of going against the big crowds here and always play us really tough.

 There's a lot of basketball left for us to play and as far as I'm concerned we can do this. I need to get this team motivated. It's my job to teach them how they need to get things done.

 There is no pressure. We're going out there to play basketball and play hard for 40 minutes. The great thing with this team and these players is that they are so hungry, so focused and motivated. They really want to keep going. It's a lot of fun to coach a team like this.

 When we got here (as ninth-graders), nobody wanted to play basketball. We just decided we've got to do something about turning this program around. We really love basketball.

 I feel like the way we play, and having a player like Ivory, sells the game of basketball. Because I want people to fall in love with women's basketball.

 When we were little, Tyler and I were always in the finals. That really motivated us.

 I would love to get to the finals and play Nixa. That would be good for both schools, meaning we both made it.

As a team we had some big goals this year, and the biggest of them was to reach the state tournament. We wanted to do it so much for (coach Jay Graham), who has motivated us so well. All of us on this team love sports, love hockey and push each other and it has paid off.
