This is my last gezegde

 This is my last year, I'm going to take that shot. All I was thinking was I needed to get the ball up. If I get it up, I'll make it.

 When she (Cross) missed the third shot and the ball went to the side where we had two girls, I knew we would have an opportunity to make a basket. I was thinking 'two' but the shot was a three-pointer, and it was all we needed. It was just our time.

 It's called thinking without thinking. That's what I call it. The opportunity was there to make the shot. Most of the time when I'm shooting or when I'm shooting threes, I'm thinking about it too much. So I just was in rhythm, and I felt that it was a great shot and I made it.

 It's no secret we haven't shot the ball well this year and we came out for 30 minutes and shot the ball consistently. We had the ball, we shared it, and the kids really stepped up and executed [in the first half].

 I'm not thinking anything, I'm just concentrating on the shot. I had plenty of time to see the rim when I was going there. I didn't want him to discourage my shot in any way. If he's going to make a play, he's going to have to make a spectacular play. So I just focused on the shot and let it go.

 He shoots that shot in practice. He can make it. Obviously it's not part of our offensive game plan. ... It was a tough shot and one we needed to make and he made it.

 We needed to come out and make sure we defended our home court and played strong in the second half. Defensively, we played better and we shot the ball better today.

 We feel that everybody knows he is going to touch the ball. But now it is up to him to make the right play and finishing and taking the shot or drawing two or three guys to him and have a teammate make the shot.

 We wanted to make the shot and go into diamond press. It was a good shot. We still needed the timeout.

 She was always willing to do whatever I needed her to do. If I needed her in the paint, she would go play inside. If we needed a spark from behind the arc, she was there and willing. She even handled the ball some for us this year and did a good job with that. I'm just very pleased, very happy, with Taylor. She is leaving some big shoes to be filled.

 We shot better and didn't turn the ball over. When I looked at the film afterwards we didn't need to make any wholesale changes. We just needed to do the little things right, which we didn't do up there.

 We just couldn't make a shot in the first half, and we turned the ball over too much. Our decision-making is not where it should be this time of year.
