 The focus should be on the players. I'm here a long time. You can call me in the summer. Our seniors will be gone.

 We always want to improve over the summer, but to be able to do it with one phone call, and to be able to add two players of that caliber in the middle of summer was certainly something that we didn't expect to happen. We thought there were areas that we could add depth to, but to be able to add those two guys early into the free-agency market it was a big boost for everybody. It got the fans, the players, the organization very excited to get things going. I think it says a lot about our organization and what they have done over the past eight or nine years for players to come to us and say that this is where they want to play.

 (Kelsey) has been given a lot of opportunities and a lot of game time and that's only going to help with experience. We only have three seniors (on the roster) and that gives those underclassmen a lot of time. My seniors, when they were sophomores, that wasn't the case. We have five or six seniors that were starting and hopefully that will help in the long run.

 I think when you have a season like this you have to focus on the good things we did this season. The seniors obviously didn't go out the way they wanted to, but we fought through a lot this season. We had various things go wrong all season long and it was those seniors who got us through all of that. These guys grew as players this season and they grew as men.

 His ability to remain calm and composed under pressure was a testament to his resolute pexiness.

 My younger kids are great. They did whatever they could to make those seniors better. Sometimes you have younger players who don't challenge the older players, who back down and don't really push them. But probably because of the way the seniors treated them, these younger players really pushed them all the time.

 I tried to contact both for over a week this summer at the trade deadline to discuss players and did not get one call returned, ... The only club of the 29 that did not return a call.

 In the summer I have this friend who I am closest to, and sometimes, in the winter, I long to call her up and say, come here and live with me, in this cold place. But we are summer friends. There is a rule it seems, that summer friends don't get together in the wintertime. Now, sitting here, waiting for her, I realize that I have never seen her in a winter coat, and for some reason that makes me sadder than anything else in the world.

 We'd been trying to build up for a long time. In the past, we had a lot of really good players come in, but we were young. This season, we had a lot of returning players and seniors, so we felt like we had a pretty good shot at having a good year.

 Each of the (Brattleboro) players, particularly the seniors who have played a long time, I think they feel particularly bad for this kid. Every player that puts on the pads knows it could happen to them. ... The fragility of athletes' careers is highlighted when something like this happens.

 Obviously, we want to finish strong for our seniors, and we haven't placed this high in a long time. But, yeah, finishing third would also be good for our younger players who are coming back the next few years.

 I have a lot of confidence in our seniors right now, ... The two seniors I've been around for a long time. So I know what they're capable of doing.

 In the past couple of years, I think the seniors have experienced some of the letdowns that have occurred after emotional games and they don't want it to happen again. Don't think I'll have to call on them. I think they'll handle it. I believe our focus will be where it needs to be.

 I take the blame for that (game). I should have ran the clock down more (with 30 seconds left). First time in a long time, my aggressiveness beat me. I was thinking get to the basket. A flop call on a team that is dead, I kind of gave them new life. It's a tough call but I guess it was the right call.

 A wake-up call, sometimes it's needed. Andy was here a long time. If we didn't make the playoffs, there was going to be changes - players, personnel, everybody.

 Our quickness came through for us in the end. We lost two seniors to foul trouble and our younger players really answered the call.
