 Not only can we not golf, we can't even go out on the golf club's property. We're not allowed in the grill or the pro shop. We've been totally kicked out of everything to do with the golf course. They're trying to divide us from the other members.

 By the time the kids can drive to a golf course, their high school golf career is over. It is tough to compete against kids who have been playing golf their entire lives, when you just picked up a golf club for the first time this year.

 I'm not going to say anything nasty about golf. I have a standing offer - and I've told this to Bill and Mike - that if they ever do a charity golf thing again, I will get knickers and a tweed cap and, never having touched a golf club in my life, I will take mushrooms and do a full eighteen holes.  During the period from 1934 to about two or three years ago, there really wasn't much done to this golf course. Why all of a sudden do we need a new golf course? Because we've got new equipment that doesn't fit this golf course, or even fit the game anymore. That's why.

 I just played pretty steady. This golf course is a difficult golf course so if you just hit fairways and greens and make a few putts here and there, you're going to win a bunch of holes. And I think that's the strength of my game -- keeping the ball in front of me.

 Whether it's a golf grip, golf shaft, a golf head or a golf ball, you're still chasing a finite amount of dollars.

 When we're playing golf, he's a fun guy to be around. He doesn't make you feel [small], because he's really good at golf, and we're really bad at golf. We're totally different on the golf course.

 It's going to be very difficult. It's going to be a very tough test of golf now with the changes making it even more difficult. It's a very challenging golf course now. I think the course is going to play a full shot harder each round.

 I picked golf up when I was five or six years old. My uncle, who is an ex-hockey player, is a golf professional in British Columbia. So I would spend my summers out there with him. Just grew to love the game and I played every day and I used to work at a golf course growing up.

 If the golf ball and (club) technology had never changed, it all would've stayed the same (here). I don't think any of the golf-course changes would've been necessary.
