 The best part is that the students will have ownership over their learning ... a lot more control over what they learn through the different projects. Our role will be quite different compared to that in the traditional classroom.

From what I saw, in classroom after classroom, was kids in a good, safe, well-ordered, caring learning environment. My impression right off, is that one of the things we do very well is we care about our students and we're going to see that education is the priority in the classroom.

 Now these schools can bring the mobile computer carts from classroom to classroom, giving more students access to technology and information. This donation is an example of how a global company like Dell can help enable local benefits to customers and communities. We encourage other companies and organizations to help us revitalize these schools by donating any products or services they can.

 It's important to the students and it helps build relationships between teachers and students outside of the classroom. You get to know them on a personal level. They step out of their comfort zone. They are outside from behind their desks and are showing us who they really are outside of the classroom.

 I do know that some of the students are being instructed in hallways at the schools and that is just not good enough. We have a classroom in New Albany that only has seven students in it. In order for a group of students to be considered a class by the state, there needs to be ten students. We will lose out on a lot of money if this problem is not rectified. We have to offer these students the best that we can afford.

 We think if a parent knows the specifics of how to improve the classroom environment (giving) can be a gratifying experience. It can give them a sense of accomplishment.

 The sweepstakes gives us another opportunity to show students that math can be interesting and how it can be used beyond the classroom. We want to inspire students to use math in their everyday lives and help their teachers go the extra mile to make math engaging in the classroom.

 This administration has taken the FCAT as a sole determinant. And now it will determine whether a teacher is doing a good job and we think there is so much more to it. There are so many things a teacher does in the classroom such as, classroom management, understanding his or her students and finding ways to reach the students. This provides a narrow approach to determine an outstanding teacher.

 She probably would have been predominantly in a separate classroom all day long with students that would not be able to perform academically in a regular classroom. She would have had a ceiling put on her potential.

 The purpose is for students to get together outside of the classroom and to get to know each other in a way that they don't get to inside the classroom. It is also to explore various activities that they are in.

 The review is a new beginning for the town. It's been drawn up in consultation with a broad cross-section of people and we hope the whole community will feel a sense of ownership over it, giving an impetus to get things moving.

 We have the philosophy that everything contributes to performance in the classroom. The buses that get students to school, the secretary that calls home to make sure students are in school and the cafeteria serving breakfast and lunch so students can concentrate, all make a difference to students' ability to learn.

 The program lets students get an understanding of professors outside the classroom. The experience shows the interests and development of professors' writing by an out-of-the-classroom perspective.

 Expectations outside of the classroom are much greater. A lot more pressure is put on the students to do research and then bring the research back to the classroom.
